Martha was someone who’d been alive for hundred’s of years, she’d gone longer than most escaping inevitable boredom. For someone who couldn’t die, however, what awaited some people after death was a subject of interest for her.
The witch decided to use a spell that would allow her to astro-project, into a random version of the afterlife. If it would be new or something she’d already seen, she had no idea.
There were a few moments after materialization where she seemed almost asleep, her consciousness not fully there yet, but then she awoke with a gasping breath. Blue-green eyes opening and she sat up, taking in the sight around her.
“A....hotel..?” Martha mumbled to herself, looking around as she slowly got to her feet. The edges of her form were almost...static-y? As though she was there yet not truly there at the same time, which she wasn’t. No one was in the main room at the moment, so she took the change to poke around so to speak. Walking around the foyer and behind the front deck/bar that she’d woken up in front of.
She attempted to touch an empty bottle that had been left on the desk...though her hand just went through it.
“Huh...interesting. New...alright.” The raven-haired woman muttered again, looking up to the sound of unnerving static from across the room.
“Oh, hello. Sorry if I’m intruding....would ya be so kind as t’ tell me where I am?” She asked, though this stranger certainly looked bizarre to her she gave it little mind.
