For me, Star Trek was always a comfort because I grew up in a mixed race family but also in a somewhat racist environment socially.

In Star Trek and by the immortal words of Kirk in TOS: Plato's Stepchildren: "size, shape or color make no difference."

I dream of a future where we all see each other for the uniquely beautiful and individual beings that we are, not for petty differences in skin tone or place of origin. We are all capable of greatness; we just need to work to cultivate an environment that celebrates difference instead of causing harm to others for it. 

IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations) is a philosophy that we can all use and embrace in our daily lives, and I sincerely hope that someday the future will be a bright and beautiful place that everyone can share together equally.

I’m Megatron! It’s great to meet you all, and be a part of this group.

I’m originally from Detroit, but I live in Florida now.

I have seen (and love) all the series, as well as most of the movies.

My favorite is probably TOS, just because that’s the first series I ever watched.

I love all the Vulcan characters, and all the kickass women.

My blog is TOS/AOS mostly, with a smattering of space and science related posts.

A few things about me:

- TOS / TAS is my candy crack. If I could take it intravenously at all times like a Morphine drip, I wouldn't hesitate.  - I am a card carrying member of the Church of Nimoy. All Hail!  - I'm a huge nerd for all things Spock, Vulcan (T'Khasi), Vulcan Language (t'ogen vuhlkansu). Do not be surprised if I post stuff in vuhlkansu or ramble incessantly about Vulcan related material. - I have been a fan all of my life, nearly 30 years now. I have literally seen it all / love it all / and will discuss it all. - I am a mega nerd for Trek novels / comics / classic merchandise.  - I love fanfic / fan art / fan projects. - Although I'm not much into slash, I don't dissuade others from pursuing their passions or discussing them with me. IDIC all the way. - As far as ships go, for me personally: all I need is Spock, baby. This ship flies solo and makes frequent stops to T'Khasi.
