We’re family Steve. Don’t do this. We’re a package deal. Captain and Lady America.” Stephanie swallowed thickly. She formed fists with her hands to keep from them shaking. She couldn’t let her brother see how much this was affecting her.

“I know it’s a little different okay? Because Peggy was still alive when we got out of the ice, but I’ve lost people too. Some of the same people you’ve lost too, don’t forget that.” She would not mention Howard Stark. She hadn’t mentioned Howard Stark since they had woken up because their relationship had been brief, and barely anything to get upset over after she woke up. Yet she had been upset that she didn’t get the time that Steve got with Peggy (even though Peggy was ninety-something at the time.)
