rhett takes a breath as the curtains close, blinking a few times as the lights come up. he looks over at piper with a slightly sheepish look on his face. "okay, that was... that was pretty incredible." he'd sworn up and down there was no way he'd like musicals–– going to please piper was a no-brainer, but enjoying it? he had his doubts. but these people were something else. the sheer amount of talent on that stage is incredible. and if he got a little choked up during one of the songs? well that's between him and the sleeve of his shirt. "you were right. 'course you were."

chrissy lights up when she sees brett from across the dance floor. she's always been a little shy. often, it was jason who dragged her out into the spotlight. she doesn't miss that one bit, but she has found herself retreating inward even more ever since... what happened. but brett makes her feel safe. he is familiar, kind despite what he seems to think of himself. chrissy scurries over. "hey!" she says brightly, "i almost didn't recognize you in the mask!"

kian had been out late, an away meet causing him to not get in until much later than expected - but it didn't seem to matter as his sister and her friend had still been awake. ❝ another riveting night of finger polish and boybands? ❞ he questioned, winking to the girl once his sister wasn't looking. the male hadn't said anything else as he was moving up to his room, settling in for the night as he was hoping he'd get his daily dose of company rather quickly. thankfully, it hadn't seemed like much longer before there was a knock on his door, the familiar face sneaking in. ❝ you start staying over here any more often and people are gonna think you moved in. ❞ kian teased, raising up the blanket on his bed, and offering the usual spot to her.

mila had been running late today, having to start off her morning with sneaking out of the unfamiliar house of the male she went home with last night. typically, she wouldn't have gone out the night before classes started, but her friends had convinced her and she rarely said no. she'd managed to make it to class a few minutes before the bell, but the only seat open was directly in the front, a sigh fell from the girls lips as she sat down, slowly taking off the sunglasses eyes adjusting to the harsh classroom lighting. the bell was entirely too loud, or maybe she was on the verge of a hangover, either way when the male entered the room, she'd gotten a strange sense that she knew him. his movements, voice, and then he was turning around - a short gasp fell from her lips, realizing immediately that it was his bed she'd found herself sneaking out of only hours ago.

"Oh fuck," comes before she can help herself, quick to turn on her heel though she is sure they'd already spotted her. But maybe if she chose to ignore them, it would stop any further interaction between them.
