trying to find ingredients in a park-- a city no less-- was more difficult than marceline anticipated. she didn’t think that any shops nearby would have what she needed, especially the more obscure things like herbs and pieces of animals. luckily she found an abundance of the few things she didn’t believe this secluded city would have. gathering them into a bag, she stood up, only to feel a drop of water hit her nose.

❛ oh no, it’s raining. ❜ glancing out, the witch rubbed the back of her head and sighed, realizing she had strayed too far into the woods and was all the way across the park. for some reason, she didn’t think it would rain, despite the clouds and cool weather. ❛ it’s a little too hard for me to just walk out, and all the water may drown the plants.. ❜ ‘not to mention my clothes..’

she groans in frustration. why now?

only when she turns to look does she notice another girl, an umbrella in her hand and raising to cover her blonde hair. she was already heating towards the crowd of buildings when marceline hugged her bag of supplies and ran next to her.
