Hihi Bestie! Okay, hitting you with a hard question: What are your top 5 blorbos from any and all your fandoms? They don't have to be in any order, and you don't have to still be in that fandom, just the 5 characters who you still love and often think of.
I love questions like this (sorry it took me 10 years to answer)
Claire Bennett (Heroes) - I know I give this answer every time someone asks me about my favourite characters but she is literally the love of my life. There is something so compelling about a character who can't die. There's something even MORE compelling about a character who can go through unspeakable emotional trauma and yet not feel physical pain. Also she's a bi queen, which we love.
Lorna Dane (The Gifted) - Yes, I have a type. Don't judge me. Lorna has an incredible depth, and very few times do we get to have a woman on screen be as absolutely ruthless as they let Lorna be without being villainized. I don't care how long this show has been over, I will never not think of Lorna at least once a month.
Frank Castle (The Punisher/MCU) - My thoughts on the actor aside, Frank is the exact kind of complex I character I am obsessed with. His personal sense of right and wrong is both noble and selfish as hell. Also, I strongly believe Kastle is one of the most compelling romances I've seen in a long time.
Michael Guerin (Roswell [1999]) - I love you kicked puppy. Kicked puppy I love you. The way Michael puts in the work to take his walls down makes me insane. You spend the series watching him grow into a man, and in this mature, healthy way that's so refreshing held up against the rest of the bog standard teen drama of Roswell.
Steve Rogers (MCU) - Asking me to pick a Cap Squad favourite (which I know you're not technically doing but pretend you are) is diabolical. But I think there's something about Steve Rogers (his MCU portrayal specifically) that feels special. He's the "American Ideal" and yet he's anti-surveillance, anti-government overreach, anti-authoritarianism. He has a personal code, and he's willing to pay the price to uphold it. Also splits logs with bare hands.
