Laureano Staropoli takes the decision over Thiago Alves
There’s a lot of talent in this young man.
Laureano Staropoli for the most part fought the perfect fight; he spent a significant portion of the fight beating Thiago Alves on the front foot, beating Alves with a variety of techniques and making Thiago pay when he DID try to pressure and try to be trademark old school Thiago Alves. Alves held up well to Staropoli’s offense but just couldn’t ever get his own going outside of spurts. Laureano would do well to develop a wrestling game because if he does so, I think that could be the missing piece.
Argentina might not have quantity but their quality of fighters is insanity.
