Anyway: Abaddon’s got a little bit of a thing for befriending saints, or at least, trying, so it seems. Or maybe she’s poaching Cassiel’s friends, that’s okay too. Either way -- how is Grace not suited perfectly for her tastes, a little glam, a little showy, a lot of spotlight? She wants to take the little starlet everywhere she goes -- shopping, drinking (!), afternoon coffee, an extra glitz and glam in her life.

Animals aren’t the biggest fans of her, something something sixth sense, something something hellspawn... They go a little crazy in her presence, but it won’t stop her from trying to befriend little Oscar.

Now, she’s not exactly the best fighter, but humans are also easy enough for demons to overwhelm, making her the best discreet security Grace could keep around, minus whole demon part, of course. She’s at least enough to scare off drunk frat boys trying to make a move.

let’s just say Cassiel is not exactly a people person, and managing a restaurant is great for them until they have to deal with unhappy customers or celebrities making special requests. Grace’s requests were never difficult: privacy, staff trained to not gawk, et cetera. Cassiel, though, was surprised at how lowkey Grace and her party always are at Absolution, unlike the majority of big names who waltz around signing autographs and sending their food back untouched because it has too much salt. Grace earned their respect and a private line–the ability to text Cassiel anytime and have a booth ready for her when she arrives (not to mention Absolution’s best waitress, Shibah, assigned to her specifically).

it took Cassiel all of 6.5 seconds at the art therapy event to figure out that Isaiah has eyes for Grace and to start mentally encouraging that relationship.
