As a huge fan of the Star Ocean series, I had to experience the anime based on events from the Second Story. Character, towns, quests and monsters straight from the Ps1 in animated form is quite nostalgic! It certainly has anime tropes and typical humor / pacing issues but I find myself entertained and interested in each episode. Soundtrack is composed by Motoi Sakuraba. English VA is typical of the time and the Japanese voice acting isn't bad either.
