     he gently takes the towel away from his love , and gives him a ❛ sorry ❜ kiss . he then pats himself dry and then wraps the huge wet rag around takashi’s neck , kissing his lips softly but with the same passion that he’s always felt since the very first moment they met . adam spots a couple staring at them in the pool with their young son , and his heart pangs with disgust and sadness at the stomach - twisting looks they’re giving the young lovers . even if times have changed , some people still have hatred in their hearts that can undoubtedly never be removed .

       adam looks over from a stack of papers he’s grading--most of the cadets were either lazy in studying or felt it was a waste of time, as his red pen is being used more often than his green one--and sighs solemnly. he’s glad that takashi decided to stay, but maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad if he had gone to kerberos, if only before all this happened. now he’s bedridden and noticeably miserable. the elder teacher makes his way over to the bedside where his fiancee is, engagement ring glowing faintly in the dim lights of the room, and places his hand on shiro’s.

Nose wrinkled and brow creased with skepticism,  Keith leans in for a closer look at the offending teacup.  For someone who operated on an intuitive level,  who was notorious for making snap decisions based on gut feelings,  you’d think Keith would be better at divination.  He wasn’t.  He wasn’t even sure he saw what Shiro was talking about.  Not at first.  But the closer he looked,  the clearer it became. 

That could just be confirmation bias,  right—?  Either way,  he wasn’t about to agree with a bunch of tea leaves about his friend’s ominous fate.  Shiro was safe here at Hogwarts. They all were. What’s the worst that could happen?

Apart from,  you know,  falling down a moving staircase.

“ We’re probably reading it wrong,”  Keith said,  with a tone of irreverent apathy,  his attempt to be reassuring.  “And who cares what some soggy plants say.”
