Pandora is the love of his life. Not in a romantic way, but in a way where Regulus can’t imagine a world not breathing the same air as her. She’s the one who will pull him out from drowning, while he can pull her head from the clouds. They aren’t alike, not in the slightest. She is easy to smile, in fact that’s pretty much all she ever does, but you can sense a lunacy somewhere in her chest that will warn you not to push her too far. Regulus is quite the opposite, all grimaces and harsh stares until he crumbles under your hand and begs you to want him. He would die for someone but Pandora- Pandora would live for them. 

Regulus has always believed that she is braver than him. Although that doesn’t mean much because he’s never considered himself brave at all.  She’ll talk and not care if you listen, it doesn’t affect her either way. Regulus craves that, he envies that. When he talks he needs his words to be heard otherwise, what is he worth? If people don’t listen, has he ever been talking at all?

He knows Pandora always hears him, though. Even without speaking a word, she hears him and she still loves him. When Regulus is a right prick, she’ll tell him off, and then, still, love him. Regulus didn’t know what ‘unconditional love’ meant until she skipped into his life, eyes full of oceans and a head full of fairies.
