Something on a whim-- @5tarryknight's Captain Kitt species-swapped with Lottie! I figured a babyface suited him for his cheery demeanor, and color dropped most everything from his original form (save the hair); I thought freckles would be a fun stand-in for his usual speckles in his mushroomy form too ;D

hello my name is kyi, im an independent artist from the uk and i make music under the name starlines. i write songs about missing ur internet friends, feeling sad, and wanting to sit out in the rain. i make all my music by myself in my bedroom, and my best friend draws my cover art for me. i currently have 2 singles and an EP out on streaming platforms, with a new single (hopefully) coming out in early 2023

Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft is fully assembled on its ride to space, the United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket, in preparation for the 2:53 p.m. Friday, July 30, launch of its second Orbital Flight Test (OFT-2) in collaboration with NASA's Commercial Crew Program.
The joining of Atlas V and Starliner is a major milestone ahead of the second uncrewed flight test to demonstrate the system's human transportation capabilities to the International Space Station. The test is the last flight before the Starliner system launches American astronauts on the Crew Flight Test to the microgravity laboratory - the first flight test with crew on board.
Looked up a picture of a long necked weevil and got the breakthrough I needed for Estrelle’s design X’D
Well, not entirely, but!!
I’m working on a height chart with all the STARLINES characters so I can finally hammer out their respective proportions. Estrelle has been a character who’s been bugging me design-wise for the past five years. Or maybe longer than that, considering she has recycled parts from an OC I made back in 2014!! That makes me feel so old to say, but I at least feel better knowing that I’m finally on the right track to solve the creative problem that is Estrelle.
Short story long, I ADORE the uniforms for the various nurse corps circa WWII. Had to steal inspo for the good weevil doctor. ^^

I wanted to try out the new potential uniform on Kitt! It’s not that drastic of a silhouette change for him because his other design didn’t have a kama like Lottie’s, anyway.
Kitt’s frills never stay the same!! I experiment with their shape every time I draw them to see what looks best. He kinda looks like a rooster in this, which I’m not mad about. Speaking of, I was thinking about doing a species anatomy diagram for Kitt. Would y’all be interested in seeing that?
