She's rather cheerful; it's the first thing Ardyn notices. There's always been something about people full of light that brought up some ... odd feeling in his chest, and he was never sure what to call it. It wasn't something bad, but it wasn't terribly good- almost a wariness, a nostalgic feeling that made him bristle ever so slightly. As if light was something precious and dangerous โ because it was! โ
Certainly, though, he had heard of Warriors of Light- across time, there were legends of such people. Ardyn had never thought much about those legends, because he'd always been rather preoccupied with his own dealings; with being the chosen king, and then the healer of the people- then Chancellor of Niflheim, the Immortal Accursed. If he'd been given more time for himself, he would've loved to learn more about other legends from far away places.
She held herself as if she was from Eos, and perhaps she came from a place similar to it. She certainly seemed to know what Iaso was โ the black chocobo chick had become quite spoiled in her younger form, always letting out rather sad sounding kwehs until he picked her up and held her in his arms wherever he went โ , and that ... that was relieving.
โ You know, you can pet her. She doesn't bite. You look like you've seen chocobos before, but maybe her plumage is as unique where you come from as it is from my own world. โ
