Esos no saben pertenecer.
Esos no saben pertenecer.Â
"Dear Angel,
I retrieved your letter a bit earlier than I said I would-- Meaning, I actually asked the nurse to call me whenever you gave it to her for me. I wanted to be able to reply to it right away as opposed to writing you some random letter that had absolutely nothing to do with yours. Anyways, I'm glad you've been keeping my letters. I wasn't all too sure how you would feel about them at first. I mean, it's a bit odd to get letters from a person you don't even really know, right? I'm pretty sure parents warn their kids about that or something. But don't worry! I'm not some weirdo-- well, not in a bad way anyways. -insert laughter here-
I sound nice? I'm glad for that. I wouldn't want to scare you in any way... I know as much about you as you ever allowed me to know, but that was quite a bit I suppose. I'll to not keep you waiting for too much longer, okay? I'm still... Ah, I don't want to go into that. I'm sure it's already hard enough not being able to remember your own life let alone those of the ones that care about you. And don't worry about how long your letter is! I'm just glad you wrote me back to begin with. Even if it had been two sentences it would've still made me incredibly happy.
When you're out of the hospital-- and after you've gotten used to my presence-- how about we go get boba together, hm? I've missed that... I'm doing really well lately! A lot of good things have been happening, and I hope I'll be able to share them with you soon. A picture? Hmm...maybe in one of the next letters I'll send you one. It's the least I can do since I haven't come to see you yet, right? I think this letter went on a bit longer than I had intended it to. I'm sorry about that. I just wanted to make sure I answered everything that was in yours. But now it's my turn to ask a few questions, huh? Have you been doing alright? Are your treatments and such going well? And are your doctors and nurses acting the way they should? I told you before I'm afraid of hospitals so I worry... Well, looks like once again we've reached the end of this letter. I look forward to you replying back when you can, and I hope you're smiling lots and lots. Be happy, Angel.

"Dear Angel,
You know, I really hate hospitals. There's something really disturbing about them that I can't really put my finger on. And yet for whatever reason I find it almost easy to step through those glass doors to drop off this letter for you. Basically that means you're extremely special and important to me. I don't remember if I mentioned that in my last letter or not. Oh well-- Wait, did you even get the letter? I didn't think about calling to ask the nurse, but I think I might this time....
Anyways, all of that aside. I hope you've been doing well. I'm still sorry I haven't been able to see you just yet... I'm working up my nerve to do so, but it may take a bit of time. If you're out of the hospital by that point, then I'll just have buy you a gift to make up for that won't I? Even in the condition you are right now I really hope you're finding reasons to smile. That was always the one thing I wanted for you more than anything: For you to be happy and to find at least ten things to smile about everyday. You deserve it. You really really do.
I was thinking about one of the many times you and I spent together the other day. We went to get bubble tea at one of my favourite places-- You were upset about something, I can't really remember what, but I wanted to make sure you felt better by the end of it all. Surprisingly enough, it actually worked a little bit. So, when you have bubble tea from now on-- do you even know that you like it?-- I hope that it'll make you smile at least a little bit. Oh! And make sure you always have headphones and a blanket if a thunderstorm happens to pass over. Just trust me on that. Keep doing everything and anything the doctors tell you to, okay? And if you want to reply to this letter, I can always pick it up the next time I drop one off. Remember that you're in my thoughts often.

"Dear Angel,
I'm aware you don't remember me-- or even the fact that I call you by that name, but it never hurts to reach out now does it? I'm sure you've met many people that claim to know you but none of which you actually remember. Perhaps that's why I haven't come to see you myself. Or maybe even... It's more than possible I'm simply too much of a coward to do so. I heard you were still in the hospital, and since the guilt of not having seen you was getting to me, I decided to give this to you. I really hope whichever nurse I have deliver this actually does and isn't some nosy Nancy--
Anyways, this is my way of letting you know that I exist. That there is yet another person out there that cares for you; wishes you well; misses the times that we had together.... I'm sorry I couldn't help to make things better... And I'm sorry I can't seem to get over my fear, and simply come see you face to face... I'm so so sorry.
Please know, that even if you haven't the slightest clue who I even am, that I care about you deeply. You're an important person in my life. Far more important than most... You're one of very few that has been with me through various changes and hard times. We've shared only happy memories together-- I hope you'll be able to recall those soon. I won't tell you my name just yet. It would be a bit... I'm not sure if awkward would be the right word or not? Maybe confusing? You'll understand that one day. For now, I'll leave you with the name that you gave me once upon a time. Take good care of yourself, Angel. I hope I can see you soon.

It was late but the nurse came and delivered a rather long letter to him. He opened the envelope and pulled out the piece of paper, and took the time to read everything out loud. He frowned as he read the letter, because he could feel the hint of sadness in the letter. He kept the letter on the desk next to him. He would wait for the day this star would come to visit. He looked out of the window in his room and sighed. "I hope I see you soon, star.."
