     ❝Hey, Mask.❞ Gremmy seems to have appeared from nowhere (and perhaps he does, one can never be too sure with The Visionary) when he greets Silbern’s most outlandish Sternritter. Surely the boy should have been confined to quarters as per usual, but a bit of good behavior went a long way with their dearest Großmeister he discovered.

    He rocks back and forth of his heels, smiling as only he can beneath the high collar of his uniform. ❝Wanna play a game?❞

     @starlariat​ sᴀɪᴅ: Surely, on this day of ALL days, the Grandmaster would acquiesce and cut him some slack. After all, the man who stands second to His Majesty deserves proper respect and recognition from his subordinates! So, while Mask is respecting his wishes by not throwing parties or seeking elaborate gifts, he will assert his authority as The Superstar by pulling Haschwalth into a bone-crunching bear hug anyways! "A happy birthday to you, Grandmaster!"

     Even with The Superstar’s size and boisterous attitude, Mask de Masculine is a very capable and powerful Sternritter. Point is proven when the Grandmaster is suddenly lifted by massive arms into a too-tight hug, though he can only blame himself for not paying more attention to his surroundings in that moment. Haschwalth is uncharacteristically distracted during this time of year for reasons unknown.

     He freezes in the midst of the embrace and trains his expression into one of distaste. Sword is nearly reached for in a knee-jerk reaction, but instead fingers curl into tight fists beneath the cloak draped over his shoulders.

     ❝-- Thank... you, Mask,❞ he grinds out, brows beginning to knit. James’ cheering is close by and he swears the hug only gets tighter with every passing second. The embarrassment of having to use Blut to avoid injury, serious or otherwise, is avoided as the tell-tale markings of its activation are hidden with his uniform.
