dude omg so like there r so many different version of poto and i was wondering if u could tell me which erik is which bc it's hella confusing lmao sorry to bother u ;v; and ur art is rad as heck uvu
(Thank you!)
I'll give you the abbreviations I use and which Eriks that they refer to:
Lerik/Erik: Erik from the original novel by Gaston Leroux. Also used to refer to the Erik from the 1925 movie
Kerik: Erik from the book "Phantom" by Susan Kay, which puts an emphasis on Erik's past.Â
Merik: Andrew Lloyd Webber's Erik from the musical!
Gerik: Gerard Butler Erik, or in other words the Erik from the Joel Schumacher movie of the ALW musical.
Cherik: Erik as played by Charles Dance in the 1990 TV miniseries from Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit (based on a musical they made earlier)
Jerik: Julien Sand's Erik from the hard-to-think-about version of PotO by Dario Argento
Winslow: Winslow Leach, the Phantom of the Paradise, complete cutie
Then there's also the horror version of phantom starring Robert Englund, the 1943 PotO with Claude Rains as Erique Claudin, the 1983 TV movie with Maximillian Schell, and the 1962 Herbert Lom version. And many others......

Questions:Â (from whathappensontheholodeck)
Have you ever kissed someone you shouldn't?
No, but I nearly asked out a new friend's ex-boyfriend by accident the other day...Â
What one object would you love to own, if you could?
The rights to to Star Trek. We'd get more Voyager, an AOS tv series, and a brand new series, at the very minimum. Â Â
What celebrity would you date, if you could?
Dan Smith (Bastille). I don't know what I love more- his brain or his voice or his face just PLEASE LET ME MEET HIM SOMETIME. However, it's worth mentioning that in a parallel universe I am happily dating a young Kate Mulgrew. And I am very jealous. ;D Â Â Â
Weird food that you absolutely love?
Pickled ginger!!!!Â
Are you, or would you ever, be a vegetarian, and why/why not?
No. Meat is convenient protein and besides, I LOVE salmon. Â
You top five favorite books?
Dude this is tough since most of my favorite books are series; but ok I'll try! Briar's Book (Circle of Magic), The Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter), The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Anne of the Island, and The Scarlet Sails. But I will also freak out over Abhorsen and Ask the Passengers. And more. ;DÂ
The most common fandom reference you slip into everyday conversation?
Anything to do with warp speed. Â
What's your favorite way to eat chocolate?
Plucking out chocolate chunks from a chocolate brownie. YUM. Â
What animal/creature do you really dislike and why?
I am terrified of grasshoppers, because of reading Little House on the Prairie and then having a grasshopper land on the windshield of the car the day after I read the passage about locusts. Grasshoppers are much bigger than I thought, and it FREAKED ME OUT. Luckily I was 5 so I wasn't driving...Anyway, there was a time if you even said the WORD grasshopper in conversation, I would physically recoil and/or shriek. I still might, hasn't happened lately so I don't really know...Â
Where would you love to go on holiday?
Minnesota. I wanna see the trees in fall and check out the lakes! Plus I watched too much Stargate SG1 in my youth. I adopted a Jack O'Neill mindset.Â
What role model do you look up to the most?
Captain Kathryn Janeway, bamf of the intrepid starship Voyager- who has been in my life for less than a month but I already feel like I'm 10,000 times the bamf I used to be. She just...ugh I have so many feels. It's so empowering to see a woman as top dog, and I love her leadership style. Before KJ, I would have picked Laura Roslin, who is near and dear to my heart. Â
My questions:
Which fandom character do you absolutely wish you could erase from history?
What branch of Starfleet would you serve in, if you could?
Favorite way to read?
Ever had a reoccurring dream?
What scent invigorates you?
Top five songs for bringing on ship feels?
Favorite season?
Best thing about having your period?Â
Favorite fairy tale?
Do you have a favorite headcanon of yourself in a parallel universe?
Would you rather write or draw?
