Gay goofs in space that are either overdramatic or salty suns. :/ Almost a funny concept if you haven't seen the comic. (Which was awesome.)

Anyone else think of how amazing the damn soundtrack is? It just feels so right. 💕

Starfighter Game Showdown: Fighters or Navigators?

In Starfighter: Eclipse, you play as rookie fighter Helios, paired with a brand new Navigator, Selene. We asked the Date Nighto/Starfighter team who they'd be, and why. (Need a refresher on fighters and navigators? Seems like a good excuse to reread the comic!)

HamletMachine (creator/creative lead): I think I'd be a Navigator! I tend to associate more with characters like Abel... but also I'm not so great at fighting anything that isn't turn-based so I probably wouldn't fare very well in space combat.

Priya Huq (writer): I think I would probably be a Fighter.  It's not that I wouldn't enjoy the work of a Navigator more-- I would-- but once in action, my temperament would make me want to be on the front line, so to speak.

Lindsay Woods (art director): Navigator for sure. I'd look better in black, but between fighters and navigators, which one is more likely to spend a Friday night gleefully organizing their hard drive? That's Navigator stuff. Probably. 

Emily Elizabeth (composer): I am a painfully shy, polite person, face-to-face. This is just a front for my true brash, aggressive nature and foul mouth. I need outlets for said aggression, and thrive on survival decision-making. And I don't mind putting the more tactical planning in the hands of someone I trust. :) Without a doubt I'm a fighter.

Samm Neiland (composer): I’m guessing both wouldn’t be an option (Mr. Lone Wolf here), but if I had to pick one, I’d probably have to pick Navigator. I tend to make most of my decisions with a lot of calculation and pre-determination in mind, and even more importantly, quite quickly as well. Plus, I tend to like to more subtly be in control of the situation.

Conrad Kreyling (tech lead): I’ve always been the kind of person to burst through a wall first and ask if anyone wants a refreshing beverage second, which I assume puts me in the Fighter category! I’ve never been in a fight though… I assume that would go pretty bad, but I’m sticking with my answer!
