HE’S   ACCUSTOMED   TO   ELVES.         vax’ildan   spends   most   of   his   life   surrounded   by   high   elves   in   syngorn,   none   of   them   friend   to   him   or   his   sister.      but   none   of   the   elves   in   syngorn   are   drow;      syldor   as   ambassador   has   dealings   with   some   of   them   outside   of   the   city,   but   he   never   brings   his   othlir   bastards   along,   of   course.      vax   has   to   wonder   if   they’ve   the   same   sort   of   perspective   on   half-elves,   helping   this   drow   wizard   pick   through   the   cluttered   library,   seeking   out   the   tomes   they   need   for   the   spells   vox   machina   need   him   to   execute.            “      is   this   one   helpful?      ”            vax   holds   up   a   red   leather   book   for   essek   to   peruse.            “      i   can’t   read   it,   so   .   .   .      ”            he   can’t   even   identify   the   language,   if   he’s   honest.   

1)      dick   grayson.         i   would   love   to   play   dick   because   i   love   playing   acrobatic   characters.      the   character   sheet   i   have   for   him   has   him   as   a   multi-classed   monk   /   rogue,   and   that’s   just   rad   as   hell.    2)      elizabeth   swann.         not   only   is   lizzie   one   of   my   favorite   characters   of   all   time,   i’ve   been   wanting   to   play   a   pirate   in   an   irl   campaign   lately.    3)      lyanna   stark.         i   would   just?      die   to   play   lyanna.      i   don’t   exactly   know   what   class   i   would   choose   for   her      (   probably   fighter,   possibly   ranger   ),      but   the   vibes   and   the   backstory   would   be   immaculate.      i   would   definitely   use   this   opportunity   to   make   a   dm   let   me   have   a   baby   strapped   to   my   back   in   a   campaign   .   .   .      i’d   probably   do   that   with   elizabeth,   too,   ngl.   

OKAY,   HONESTLY      —      I   DON’T   HAVE   THEM   ALL   THOUGHT   OUT.         what   i   will   say   though   is   that   he   does   continue   the   zemnian   naming   tradition,   except   for   the   ones   that   his   friends   /   family   have   named,   if   they   choose   other   sorts   of   names.      he   also   never   uses   the   same   name   twice   for   the   cats,   even   the   many   in   the   tower   and   the   ‘real’   ones   he   adopts   throughout   the   rest   of   his   life.      most   of   them   have   absurdly   ‘serious’   people   names   like   hansel   and   rudolph,   marta   and   ilse.      however,   lol,   there   are   some   ‘childish’   ones   in   there,   just   like   with   frumpkin,   like   strudel   and   fluffers.      there   are   at   least   twelve   over   the   years   that   he   adopts   on   his   own      (   and   with   essek   ),      plus   all   the   cats   in   the   tower,   and   caleb   has   a   perfect   memory,   but   i   do   not   lol.      so   this   is   as   good   as   we’re   gonna   get.   

"What are you doing here?" she demanded.

  “It’s late.” He then chuckled, “you should have been in bed HOURS ago.”

"I've always wanted to try out platinum white hair. Maybe with darker roots. Oh, or I'd go for like... pastel blue and purple highlights."
