The thing is - at the beginning they are as white as possible, and glowing like big fireflies. With time their skin gets darker and darker - blue, purple or gray - and from their shiny, white skin remains only freckles, as stars on sky, as a reminder of their origins. At the end of their life their skin is so dark, it can be even almost black, and they have not even one star on their bodies.
