I am 26, a female engineer living in a world dominated by men. Despite my young age and gender, I am currently working as a manager in a reputable company. I’ve worked very hard to prove my worth and abilities to get where I am now. Being young, I am not as uptight as most of the older generation in position; but still, my colleagues view me as a very professional person. My family views me like that too, as I’ve always been an achiever since I was a child, and they see me as someone who is intelligent, stiff, and a bit cold. 

Hence, my unexpected love for several Kpop artists is something I actively hide from most people in my life. It sometimes makes me sad that I have to keep it a secret, but it’s something I must do to maintain my image. The most I’m able to do is use my faves as my lock screen and wallpaper on my personal phone (which I always put face down at work), since I use a different one for work matters.
