#stan spirals

junji ito's uzumaki actually contaminated me with the spiral. ever since i read it i started paying attention to them and, as they say in the story, they really are everywhere if you look for them. and i became so intrigued that now, almost every drawing i make includes at least one spiral. i am completely convinced that it is the most visually appealing shape. it's mathematically perfect. i love spirals so much, i might just commission my son's friend's father to craft me some spirally plates.. to stare at... (i think this won't end well for me)
