Come join STaG for the largest student theatre festival in the country as we bring you STaG Nights: Le Cabaret Animé – a three-night-long theatre festival comprised of a series of 20-30 minute pieces of original performance from emerging writers, directors, designers and actors from Glasgow University, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly RSAMD) and The Glasgow School of Art.
This year’s festival is inspired by the charming French animation film Belleville Rendez-vous. Capturing the antiquated visual style of the film and the grotesque physicality of its characters and complete with live jazz music across each night, our playful ensemble of actors and musicians will accompany your nightly entertainment, whisking you away from the streets of Glasgow, and taking you to the playful and bizarre world of the film.

There will also be excerpts from Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, performed each night… in the gents loo’s, acted by our STaG actors and directed by Amy Cameron.
