The Basic Concept: Following the defeat of Stannis’ men at Winterfell, Nadya convinces Brienne to spare Stannis’ life rather than kill him to avenge Renly because Stannis is the only still-living candidate for king that she supports, and he is the only one willing to aid the North. She personally oversees his recovery at Castle Black and continues to publically vocalize her support for the throne. She convinces him to stay and help the North in exchange for their assistance in putting him on the Iron Throne now that his own army had been severely depleted. She eventually gets past that rough exterior of his with her kindness and her own headstrong personality, and they, of course, fall in love.

Then they take back Winterfell and get ready for the Long Night/to take the Iron Throne. And get married (part of the alliance with the North deal, mayhaps?).

Stannis becomes King of the Seven Kingdoms, and Nadya his Queen. I’m not quite sure what they’re going to do with Daenerys yet, but Stannis does let Nadya take Jon with her to King’s Landing and he becomes the Commander of the City Watch (either Sansa or one of the younger two Stark boys will become Lord/Lady of Winterfell). And of course, as I always like to do, they have plenty of kids.

I’ll admit that I’ve been super busy lately and haven’t really had the time to think about them in depth, but I’ll share the recent thoughts that I’ve had!

Edmure x Nadya

Aside from the Blackfish, Nadya is Edmure’s chief advisor.

I think they like to go on walks together along the river.

Their son Edmund is named after Edmure (literally just transferring him over from the main AtRF timeline), and their daughter Hostella is named after Hoster Tully.

Their last two children, Derrick and Danelle, are twins.

While Edmure is away fighting, which happens more often in this AU, Nadya is the one put in charge of Riverrun (unless she joins him, which sometimes happens).

Stannis x Nadya

The reason that Nadya goes after Stannis and his army after they leave for Winterfell is because she had a vision of Helaena telling her to.

They initially bond over losing their spouses and children.

Their son Davos is, obviously, named after Davos Seaworth.
