"Just Remember, I Tried To Help You!"
Double Episode Catch-Up
Thursday 4th March - Friday 5th March 2021
Hello everyone! How are we all? Hope you've all had a fun filled weekend! This post is going to be another catch up post, this seems to be the only way I'm up to date along with you guys. This post will be focusing on Thursday and Friday's episodes! But before we dive in, the news that was shared over the weekend was that Davood Ghadami has filmed his final scenes as Kush Kazemi! Kush's exit is slowly approaching! I have to be honest, I will devastated to see Kush leave, he's been one of my favourite characters. I'm intrigued to see what his exit story will be, I'm just going to pray to God that the opportunity for him to return one day will be left open! How do you feel about Kush? Will you miss him when he leaves? Please feel free to leave me comment and tell me how you feel!
I apologise for this post being so late, I just wanted to thank you all for being so patient with me. I realise there's quite a lot to mention and catch up on, for he first thing I'm going to mention is Stacey. Obviously after recent events, she's been left feeling guilty and probably feeling that Martin and Ruby both hate her. Sooner or later, the kids are going to find out the truth about Ruby's miscarriage, and it looks as if Stacey is fretting about telling them on her own, her initial thought is to suggest they all come together and inform the children as a family. However, it seems that Lilly overhears Stacey fretting to her Mum about Martin possibly hating her, realising that Lilly has overheard their conversation, she informs her daughter that Ruby had lost the baby because she fell, she explains that she and Ruby had an argument which caused her to trip and fall. I have to say that it's horrible that Ruby is blaming her for her miscarriage, I kind of hope that the rest of the family, especially the children don't find out, as it could cause so much hurt to Stacey and her kids. Lilly, bless her, decides to take it upon herself, without her Mum's knowledge, and visit Ruby with a bunch of flowers, claiming that she's sorry for the loss but to please not blame her Mum, as miscarriage can be caused by so many different things. As much as Ruby is flattered by the lovely gesture of flowers, she ushers Martin to get his daughter to leave once she starts claiming her Mum isn't to blame. I do feel for Stacey but I do also fear that things are going to get a bit worse for her if Ruby has her way. We know that Lacey Turner will be leaving her role as Stacey temporarily as she goes on Maternity Leave, but I'm intrigued to see how her character will be written out. -- So the second thing I need to mention is Keegan and Tiffany. I guess you could say that first off, Dotty tricks Tiffany into doing a hostessing shift at the club, she informs the young married couple that she's increasing the rent. Of course both Keegan and Tiffany have been struggling for quite a long time, so for her to up the rent is a bit of a kick in the teeth for them. Tiffany tries to confront Dotty, try to reason with her, but it's then that Dotty reveals to Tiffany that she's actually desperate for the money and if she doesn't get it, she could be in big trouble. My first thought at this was "What sort of trouble?", "Potential new storyline?", "Have we missed something?" ... I genuinely thought that Dotty was getting a new storyline there, so you can understand my disappointment when she revealed to Tiffany, after trying to be the supportive friend and do her mate a favour, that she was only lying about the possibility of her being in trouble, just to show Tiffany that she can do the hostessing job! Funny though, it's amazing how far both Dotty and Tiffany have come, they were like enemies when they were younger and now they're living together? I love character growth like this! Even though she promised her husband she wouldn't do anything if he didn't want her to, Keegan walks into the club to find Tiffany being hounded by a group of men. Clearly he is very unhappy with her going behind his back. Keegan even tries to stand up for himself, informing the gentleman that their hostess happens to be his wife, but unfortunately, they laugh in his face and mock him, claiming Tiffany can do better than him. I have to be honest, of all the times I've found Keegan being really miserable, I kind of felt for him during this moment. As they return home, Dotty claims that just because he's married to her, doesn't mean he gets to tell Tiffany what to do, but he gently voices his point of view - if he had been given a job and had strange girls flaunting over him, how would Tiffany react?! He actually has a point, who would really want to watch their spouse getting flaunt over by strangers? Of course he cares a great deal for Tiffany's safety, but he also does make the valid point that she has no idea what kind of people she'll come interacting with, she could be putting herself into deep danger. Just saying, paedophiles? Rapists? Drug dealers? Serial killers? Who knows?
However, when Dotty shows the amount of money that Tiffany has made just by doing one shift of hostessing, he seems to slowly come round to the idea that maybe, if things were to be safe, Tiffany's new job could work for them. He later meets his wife in the Vic, even though he refuses to apologise for looking out for her, he seems to realise that she is her own woman and, even though he's her husband, he has no right in telling her what she can and can't do! He drops the money, that's rightfully hers, on the table and they begin to softly discuss the possible pros of her working at the club. Tiffany does reassure her husband that there will be security if things get a bit out of hand, there will be security cameras in place and Tiffany will never go further than what's expected of her, plus the money she earns will help with their future. A very interesting turn of thoughts from Keegan, but because they were discussing her safety so much, it's making me feel that maybe something is going to happen to Tiff whilst she's working as a hostess? They played that safety card so much that it's now making me thing something is definitely going to happen, what do you guys think? Should Keegan be worried for his wife?! -- Okay so this is only going to be a brief point but I also now have mention Whitney and Kush. They have now finally made their relationship public, but of course Gray isn't going to be happy about it. Earlier on he asks Whitney out for a drink as an apology for the way he spoke to her the previous day, but bless, Whitney only seems to see Gray as a mate and his childminder. Whitney agrees to go for a drink with him as harmless friends. But as the day goes on, both Whitney and Kush are finding it hard not being able to hold hands, hug or even kiss in public. As much as they're desperate to touch one another, they voice their concerns about Kat finding out. Whitney decides to take it upon herself to give Kat a visit, where, sheepishly, she reveals that she and Kush are an item. Now of course we know that Kat is currently seeing Phil, but that hasn't been made public knowledge yet - so Whitney is very surprised when Kat admits that she's giving them their blessing and compliments them of being a lovely couple. So, with the nod from Kat, Kush and Whitney go the Vic and reveal they're actually a couple. Only Gray is left devastated when he seems to realise that Kush has taken someone that he wants. Something tells me that Gray isn't going to let this lie, we know that Davood Ghadami has now filmed his final scenes as Kush, but what could Kush's exit story be? Is he going to be sent down for his involvement in the robbery? Or will he become Gray's next victim before he can get away? Either way, I'll be devastated to see Kush go, let's pray to God that they leave his role open for him to return to the Square in the future?! -- On the subject of Kat, it's only right that I mention the big storyline regarding herself and Phil! Behind their families back they've been sneaking and having a fling. At first I believed that it was simply just for fun, but I'm thinking more the two of them spend time with each other, the more that feelings of developing between them. Ben seems to be reeling about the fact that it was Kat who blabbed to Stas and urges his Dad to take action against her, but of course Phil informs his son to just drop it! But Ben can't seem to understand why he's letting Kat get away with losing them business, obviously realising he can't make up an excuse, Phil admits to his son that he has been seeing Kat for a while. Now Ben's reaction did make me laugh, because I felt it was completely relatable! Almost laughable, Ben can't seem to believe his Dad's news and pleads that it's just a joke! The reason I find Ben's reaction relatable is because I believe a lot of us laughed at the news of Phil and Kat becoming a couple, I don't think anyone ever imagined them getting together, but the more we've seen, the more the idea has grown on me. With their reputation, together, they could be a huge power couple! Only, I kind of felt sorry for Phil when his son laughed in his face, is he going through some kind of breakdown or has he really started to develop feelings for Kat?
Elsewhere, Kim is trying get Kat to let her find a man for her on her dating website. Now these scenes between Kim and Kat, I absolutely loved! I love their friendship so much it's like watching two best mates who have been through a lot in their personal lives but when they come together they belly laugh together and drink until their uncontrollably laughing at nothing in particular. Kat tries to inform Kim that she's not interested in finding a man, obviously in an attempt to keep her fling with Phil a secret, but bless him, she's absolutely adamant that she'll find someone for her friend! Eventually, after giving in to her friend's pestering she decides to describe a man she'll be interested in, only as she voices her preferences, she realises that she's pretty much described Phil, even though she laughs it off with Kim, something tells me that just maybe she's beginning to get feelings for him also?! Later on, they find themselves at the Vic and after a few failed matches on Kim's website, they begin to discuss Phil. Kim recalls how he was present when she had to give birth and how he seemed pretty useless. But Kat's eyes begin to sparkle and a cheeky grin spreads right across her face and Kim realises that her friend is hiding something, it's then that Kat reveals that she and Phil have been seeing each other over the past few weeks. Once again, it's like two best friends having a drink and sharing gossip after not seeing each other for so long, Kim is eager to hear everything that Kat has to say about her fling with the Mitchell family/business man.
Later on in the episode, Phil suggests to Kat that maybe instead of sneaking around they could go somewhere nicer, maybe spend the night in a hotel? But Kat seems to think that sneaking around makes it more exciting. After now Ben finding out and Kim knowing about their fling, maybe they feel they're not quite ready to take the next step. Is it still just a bit of fun? Or something slowly blossoming between the two? I do feel that they are starting to have feelings for each other, it's a bit obvious, but each of them are scared. Scared of what? Their reputation maybe? That maybe they could be seen as the laughing stock of the Square? Or, as I've said - could they throw all judgement aside and be Walford's next power couple?! -- Okay so the final thing I need to mention is Jack and Denise. It looks as if things haven't been going well for the couple since Denise found out the truth about the trouble her daughter is in and their arrangement with Lucas. Jack has put his career on the line for them, and now he's been made suspended and just to top it off, he feels his partner can't or won't trust him. Now I guess it's fair to say that Denise is scared of getting Jack involved, she doesn't want him to risk his job any further, but needless to say she's making it much more awkward and difficult for themselves. Interestingly she voices her concerns to Lucas informing him of her concerns but hating having to lie to her partner. Lucas claims that if she loves him as much as she says she does, she should be able to trust him and tell him everything that's going on.
It looks as if everything is eating Denise up inside. Taking Lucas's advice she agrees to meet with Jack in the Cafe, she makes him promise not to go to the police, even though that might be something he won't be able to do, considering his career. Eventually, Jack is told everything about their plan and Jack is absolutely stunned to hear that his partner has potentially got herself involved in an organised drug crime. He understand she's looking out for her daughter, but if he was to keep his mouth shut about knowledge of a drug crime, his career could be over. Denise pleads for him not to say anything, but he simply doesn't know whether he can.
Devastatingly, Denise is left alone, realising how deep she's got herself in to look after her daughter. Of course she's fearing that Caleb could come after her family if his needs are not met. Chelsea eventually finds her Mum fretting, realising that Jack has been made aware of their plans, she is absolutely furious at her Mum and tries to approach Jack herself. Luckily, just as Jack is leaving for the station, Chelsea catches him, pleading for him to hear her out before he makes any drastic decisions and potentially ruining their plan. Jack agrees and they head to the club for a chat, it's there that Chelsea reveals everything about Caleb to Jack, how she came to know and how she ended up in his debt. To be fair, Jack seems a little sympathetic to her, claiming that he did a right number on her! But still thinks she should go to the police so they can help, but Chelsea believes that that is simply not an option as Caleb will come looking for her and her family could be in danger. But things seem to take an interesting turn when Chelsea tries to worm her way into Jack's bed, trying to toy with him, reminiscing on their relationship from years ago, claiming how much she remembers a night they spent at the Arjee Bhajee! (Wayyy back when!) Seductively she suggest forgetting about their drinks and going to the police and going back to Jack's place, but Jack, brilliantly and thankfully sees right through her games! Sickened that she's even contemplating sleeping with her Mother's boyfriend just to save her own skin. As Chelsea tries to stop him from leaving, he informs her how many times he's seen someone in her position many times, regardless whether she and Caleb have made an agreement, there will always be something else he'll want from her, another job or of some kind, another debt to be paid, he warns she will never be free from him unless she goes to the police, even worse she could be putting all her family in danger!
Reluctantly, Chelsea eventually lets him leave, but I am left feeling that potentially something bad is going to happen, whether it happens to Chelsea herself or one of the family members, she will come to realise that Jack was right. Will she find herself in too deep? Will she be free of Caleb? What do you guys think of the current storylines? What direction do you think some of them will go? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Please feel free to leave me a comment or a message and I'll always reply! Thank you again for your on-going support! I love you all xXx
"You And Me, We're Done, For Good!"
Double Episode Catch-Up
Monday 1st March - Tuesday 2nd March 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope your week is going well so far! I've decided again today that in a desperate attempt to catch up, I'm going to do another post reviewing two episodes. I feel my last post went well and the way I wrote it felt really good, so I'm hoping this one will be the same. So I'll be reviewing the episodes of Monday and Tuesday this week,
Wow, wow, wow!!! An emotional dramatic roller-coaster that's for sure! Okay so I feel there are two main things to focus on, but before we start on them I'm going to start with Whitney and Gray. So after Valentine's Day it looks as if Whitney and Kush have been having a secret fling. Their romance hasn't come to knowledge for everyone yet, as they appear to be enjoying each other's company, Whitney is ushered away as Gray contacts her to look after the children. Of course, being how kind, caring and understanding Kush is, lets her go to do her job at childminding. Whitney goes a out her day looking after the kids, but when Gray comes home asking where the children are, Whitney informs him that they're playing with Raymond over at Denise's, now I get Gray would be concerned as Lucas has returned, but he has no knowledge about Lucas, plus the children wouldn't be there unsupervised, Denise wouldn't allow that considering what she knows, so I feel Gray getting angry with Whitney was completely unnecessary - but then again, when has Gray ever done something which is necessary?! Something tells me if he flips about Whitney letting his children go out to play, how the heck is he going to react when he learns she's been building a relationship with Kush?! It's been known that Gray has hold a spark for Whitney, but it looks as if she just sees him as a mate - I fear what's going to happen when Gray learns about Whitney and Kush, what do you guys think?!

Awwwww Isaac and Lola?! I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this relationship? I always did love Lola being with Jay, but I'm beginning to think that this could really go somewhere! It looks as if Isaac really does have strong feelings for Lola and after recent events of confronting his Mother to deal with his diagnosis, he's ready to tell Lola about his condition. As they enjoy another date, they were discussing movies and I have to be honest, I loved this moment, I enjoyed how natural it was. The banter, the laughing, genuinely getting to know each other more, but the interesting moment when Lola tells him to reveal something to her that she doesn't know about him, he does look a bit scared, a bit hesitant to tell her the truth, but eventually he admits that he has schizophrenia.
Now understandably, this would worry Lola. But I think she dealt the news brilliantly! Very understanding, caring - almost as if it didn't matter. She's still willing to go on dates with him and even move further into a relationship. However when she's back home after the date, maybe just to put her mind at rest, she tries asking a type of "Alexa" whether schizophrenia is dangerous, but it looks as if it doesn't work and the device doesn't respond. Just then, Isaac arrives with desserts with huge happy smiles across his face, but Lola kind of digs herself a hole when the device has a delayed response, informing her about schizophrenia right in front of Isaac. I do feel this was a little awkward, predictable maybe, but it made for brilliant viewing. Even Isaac finds the funny side and admits that he understands her concern and reassures her about any worries she may have for the future. Even the following scene where they're enjoying their dessert together, I love how Isaac is reminiscing about his teenage years and informing Lola of the time he told a friend about his diagnosis, I found it really really moving.
As I explained in my last post, I don't know the full detail when it comes to schizophrenia, I had to do a bit of research to understand, but I'll be interested to see if Isaac's condition deteriorates or becomes worse. Isn't it a bit predictable? Isaac finds happiness with Lola, only for his illness to escalate and go out of control? This is EastEnders after all, nothing is ever simple or easy and happiness doesn't last for very long. I'll be interested to see if they do an episode which focuses completely on Isaac and his mental health, as they've done with Stacey and Bobby in previous episodes, I think it would be great for the viewers to learn and understand what schizophrenia entails for those suffering with it.
--
Okay so finally I know the name of character, it's Stas!!!!! After how many episodes now? Three maybe? His name is pronounced loud and clear! (Also thank you to a few subtitles!). Okay so this story regarding Ben, Kheerat and Stas kind of makes sense. So Ben and Kheerat have joined forces in a way to do business with Stas. Did anyone else feel for Vinny though? I felt bad the way Vinny was dragged into all of this. I think Vinny hesitates when he learns that his brother is doing business with Mitchell's but also states that it'll be a bold move to get their family name out there and heard of.
Things seem to be going well for a Panesar's, that is until a dodgy shoplifter is spotted in their shop, both Kheerat and Vinny take it upon themselves to lock the shoplifter in the shop and confront them. Can I also just mention how brilliant Kheerat was in this scene, it was a strong and powerful performance from Jaz Deol. I don't know why I loved it so much, but I felt like it was a type of speech that we've never seen before, well maybe apart from Masood a few years back. I kind of see Kheerat as a younger version of Masood in a way, what do you think?! Eventually a plan is put in place for Ben, Kheerat and Stas to meet at the Arches. As far as I can make out, Stas is expecting for receive his money - money for what, I don't know? But either way Kheerat tries to reassure Stas that his "Dirty money" will be delivered. The one moment that did grab my attention though is when Stas basically insulted Ben about his sexuality, I mean - how dare he!
As time drags on, Stas seems to get a little impatient for his money and from the looks of things, Vinny is meant to be the one who's delivering the money. Stas starts to lose his temper and pulls out a gun, in an attempt to hurry things along he puts on some music as a timer for when he wants his money to be delivered, but unbeknown to everyone, as Vinny is rushing to get the money to the Arches on time, he gets approached by the shoplifter along with a huge gang, cornering him in his path. It's far to say that as the music is continuing to play, both Ben and Kheerat are fearing for their life as Stas threatens to blow up the building as a he points a gun to a gas canister. Poor Vinny is trapped, he tries his best to fight his way out of the brawl, backing into the Vic. Luckily as he enters the pub, he sees Callum sat at the bar, in a desperate attempt to get away safely, he asks Callum for his help. But little does Callum know what he's getting himself involved in, especially considering his job role.
Only, how Callum does help Vinny remains to be seen, as we don't see exactly what Callum does. But eventually, Vinny makes it to the Arches, even though he's late and music has stopped playing, both Ben and Kheerat have managed to talk Stas round in the meantime. Ben admits to his ex-business partner that he had called him "Mad" in the past, but that does not mean that he's stupid. I have to admit watch all this drama unfold, it was pretty exciting stuff, dramatic and very suspenseful. Eventually, Vinny arrives safe and sound with his money still all in tact in the bag, I guess you could say Kheerat and Ben are more than relieved to see his appearance. Kheerat mentions that everything can be forgotten if Stas leaves with the money now and he'll make sure that Stas is given his money every month. As things begin to settle down and Stas leaves with his money, everyone else returns to the Panesar business, Kheerat questions Ben as to whether Stas has always been so erratic in his ways, to which Ben admits he is. Has Kheerat got himself in too deep? As Ben turns his attention to Vinny and questions why he was so late, Vinny reveals to them that he had to ask Callum for help, which completely sends Kheerat in a panic! Considering Callum's job role, who knows what would've happened if Callum had found out the truth? Kheerat voices his disappointment in his brother, claiming that if anything comes back to haunt them, then it's on his head! I do kind of feel for Vinny at this point as well, and when he bumps into Callum later on in the street, it looks as if he's beginning to question his involvement in his brother's business. Does he really want to be handling dodgy deals with his brother and Ben Mitchell? Does he perhaps want to take a different route and do something different with his life? Even Callum admits he could become a police officer, PC Vinny Panesar - who knows?
As Ben returns home after his eventful day, he bumps into Stas for one last time. Showing a bit of interest, he questions who it was who told him the Mitchell's were backstabbing him. It's then that Kat is seen leaving the pub, Stas clocks on to her and informs Ben that it was actually her who blabbed. But the interesting is, how is Ben going to react when he learns Kat has been sleeping with his Dad?! THAT I am looking forward to seeing! Are Phil and Kat actually a serious thing? Or simply just a bit of fun?
--
Okay, so we have to talk about Ruby don't we? Poor Ruby! I think I'm beginning to feel more sorry for her as time goes on. I don't condone the lying and scheming that she's done, but no one deserves to go through losing a baby, it's the most heart-breaking thing anyone can go through. It's the day after her miscarriage and it looks as if she just wants to carry on, heading to work might even take her mind off of a few things, but Martin tries to persuade her to stay at home. But as Ruby is adamant she wants to go to wrong, she gets an excruciating pain. As Ruby is rushed to hospital, it looks as if Stacey is at home feeling nothing but guilt, does she fear that it's her fault that Ruby lost her baby? I mean, she didn't do anything to harm her, but due to all her stress, could that have caused Ruby to have a miscarriage?
It's eventually revealed that Ruby has suffered a haemorrhage after her miscarriage and they need to empty her womb. I have to say the performances from both James Bye and Louisa Lytton have been brilliant during these episodes, having to watch a young couple grieve for their lost baby, it's devastating! Poor Martin doesn't know how to console his wife, he simply can't find the right words to comfort her. He returns home to get her some more comfortable clothing when Stacey approaches, of course she's riddled with guilt and remorse, she deeply apologises to Martin. I think after everything she and Martin have been through, they know each other better than anyone, so when Martin admits he doesn't know how to be there for Ruby, Stacey tells her ex-husband that all Ruby needs is for him to talk to her, to know how he's feeling, it'll give her some comfort that she's not having to go through this all on her own.
Returning to the hospital, Martin finally finds the courage to open up to his wife. Earlier she questioned why he wasn't angry for losing his child. But he admits that he hasn't gotten past the sad stage, he's still upset and grieving for the child they've lost. He admits that when Ruby announced she was pregnant, he was terrified to begin with, but then he came comfortable with the idea and it made him happy to be a Dad again and to bring up a child with her. It would've completed their family. It looks as if this is what Ruby has been waiting to hear, she's needed to know exactly how her husband has been feeling, it seems this is the first time he's been completely open with her. I found this whole entire storyline so touching you know, upsetting as well as touching, dramatic. Performances from everyone involved have been incredible!
I kind of feel Stacey also as she's having to deal with the knowledge that she was there when Ruby fell, could she have done something more to help her? If they hadn't been arguing, she probably wouldn't have fell? All these questions would understandably going round and round in her head! As she stands on the Square with a bunch of flowers, she watches as Ruby and Martin return home from the hospital. Kush notices her and offers to go with her for support. As they enter their house, Ruby is pretty much stunned to see Stacey walking in with a bunch of flowers, I think she almost takes it as an insult. Stacey pleads for them to stop fighting and arguing, too much has no happened because of their horrendous arguments. But Ruby seems to have none of it, maybe she feels that there's too much water under the bridge for them ever to rekindle their friendship. Ruby then drops the false blow that Stacey was to blame for her miscarriage because she had pushed her down the stairs.
Now this is a false accusation, I don't how guys see this, but Stacey did not push her. Ruby followed Stacey up the stairs, but as Stacey turned, Ruby's ankle gave way and she fell. Stacey denies the allegation and pleads for Martin to understand that she'd never do something like that. But then Ruby takes it one step further by revealing to her husband that both Stacey and Kush locked her in the office and forced her to take a pregnancy test to prove to them that she was in fact pregnant. As awful and disgusting that was, Stacey tries to fight her corner, claiming that she was just looking out for her ex-husband. Ruby had been lying about so much and they feel they had good reason to check whether she was telling the truth or not.
As everyone continues to argue, poor Martin is just sat there as everything seems to sink in, the loss of his child, the accusation against Stacey and then revelation of how they treated Ruby. It all gets completely too much for him, causing him to completely explode. Telling them all to stop arguing, he exits the room and leaves the house, Kush following to console his best mate. But Martin appears to be absolutely furious, lashing out at Kush and punching him to the floor. Kush tells his friend to punch him again if it makes him feel any better, but he also reminds Martin that he knows exactly how he's currently feeling. Kush has been there! He's lost a child! I think some people do sometimes forget about that, it was one of the most tear-jerking moments I have ever seen on EastEnders, when Kush and Shabnam lost their son, Zaair.
The next scene between Martin and Kush is really loved, it was sad, moving and to be honest, it was nice having Kush remember holding his still-born son. Devastatingly, Martin never even got the opportunity to hold his new child, but I think this brief talk with Kush does help him in some way. Kush even asks him whether he's cried for his loss yet, but when Martin admits he hasn't, Kush informs him that that's where he needs to start. If Martin is worried about Ruby and trying to be there for her, he needs to make sure that he can also grieve himself before he can look after his wife. He voices that he's finding it hard to believe that Stacey would purposely push Ruby down the stairs just so she would lose their baby, I mean anyone would find it hard to believe that anyone would/could be that cruel! The final scene of the episode, Martin is sat on Arthur's bench in the Square, he looks to be in deep thoughts of the days events, but as Stacey approaches him, he realises that things between them can't be as they once were. He needs to be there for his wife, she is more important than anything right now and maybe the best thing for everyone would be if Martin and Ruby had nothing more to do with each other, he reassures her that they'll be civil for the children's sake, but the kiss they shared at Christmas was a huge mistake. He's been over her for a long time now and Ruby is his priority, as far as he's concerned, his relationship with Stacey is over, for good!
Overall a very emotional and dramatic set of episodes! I apologise for this post being so so late, I have to admit I've been a little distracted and had a few breaks during the day whilst I've been writing this, but I'm glad to have finished and have it up now! I'm looking forward to seeing where these different stories go, please feel free to leave me a comment or a message letting me know what you're think, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you everyone! I love you all xXx
"It's All Her Fault!"
Double Episode Special
Thursday 25th February - Friday 26th February 2021
Hello everyone! I apologise for this post being so late, I've been away from my computer since Friday and I've not had a chance to watch EastEnders at all. I realise I'm a few episodes behind, but in this blog post, I've decided to review both Thursday's and Friday's episodes together, that way through-out the week I can catch up and be up to date with you all. I do however have to say that this week, I will possibly be missing out Thursday and Friday again as I have some personal time away from my computer. I want thank you all though for being incredibly patient with me and allowing me to write up my blog as and when I can. You're all amazing people and I can't thank you enough for the on-going support.
There is SO much to cover, so let's discuss a few things, the first thing I'm going to focus on is Ben, Phil and this new business deal that's supposed to be going on. I have to be honest though, this storyline I'm finding a little bit confusing. Maybe because I've been away for a few days, but what was the whole business agreement/plan that Ben, Phil and this new character were involved in in the first place? All we know for sure really is that this new character, who I still can't recall the name of, "Stas" or "Stan", has been a loyal customer/client of the Mitchells for years and now he's taking his business elsewhere, to Kheerat. Of course this is going to upset and annoy the Mitchells, but after a lot of confrontation between Ben and Kheerat about nicking potential business plans/propositions, it looks as if it all comes down to money at the end of the day. Who is this new character? We really don't know much about him at all, and to be honest, I'm getting sick of seeing his face ... he doesn't speak clearly and I can't quite understand what's going on when he's onscreen! Thursday's episode shows Kheerat celebrating his new business prospects, and of course Ben kicks off as he feels that Kheerat is flaunting his celebrations right in front of them, nicking their clientele.
However, the following day, it looks that maybe Kheerat has got himself in a bit too deep as "Stas"/"Stan" demands more money that was originally agreed. Vinny notices that his brother appears to be doing some kind of business and might have been in the foresight of the Mitchells. He warns his brother to be careful and whether they should include their Mother, Suki, for help. But Kheerat is adamant that he was to do the business his way and will only inform Suki when he's ready. Has Kheerat taken on a bit too much? Meanwhile Ben seems to be seething that Kheerat is laughing at his family, mainly himself and Phil. But Phil informs his son that they should do absolutely nothing. Instead of getting worked up about lost business and money, he suggests that they should just lay back and watch from the side-lines and watch things go to pot! As that way, if things do turn out wrong, it won't be their problem, it'll be Kheerat's. As much as that appeals to Ben, watching things crash and burn would be some form of entertainment for him, he seems to ignore his Dad and approaches Kheerat whilst he's sat in Ruby's club. Interestingly, he seems to warn to Kheerat about the clientele he's working with, informing him to be on his guard and proposes that if ever he needs help in anything, he's willing to step up. Ben is clearly trying to worm his way in to be involved, just once I wish he'd listen to his Dad's advice and leave things be.

Whilst on the subject of the Mitchell's, who else has Phil been involved with lately? Kat! And after overhearing him bad-mouth her and humiliate her to Ben after their romp, she took it things into her own hands. Initially, she is the one who kind of caused the Mitchell's to lose their business proposition as she went blabbing, which turns out why Stas/Stan took his business to Kheerat instead. During this whole section of Ben trying to figure out who blabbed, Kat has been lying low, but her family are starting to notice that someone or something has seemed to upset her. Stacey mentions that if it happens to be a bloke who has let her down, then he's not worth it. Eventually Kat takes it upon herself to give Phil a visit, informing him that she's not someone to be messed around with, also dropping the bombshell that she was the one to blabbed, I think it's this point that Phil realises he has met his match in Kat, after their little fling, Kat announces that things are over between them. Only later on, it looks as if Phil realises that Kat is right and he shouldn't have bad-mouthed her the way he did, he decides to pop over to her and, in not so many words, apologise. Maybe things between Kat and Phil could get serious? Who knows, I think they'd made a very big power couple!

The next thing I have focus on is Isaac. So it's now been revealed that the illness that Isaac is suffering from is Schizophrenia. Now I've had to do a little bit of research for this as I'm not 100% sure what that entails. I think this is the first time that EastEnders have brought up the subject of Schizophrenia. For those of you unsure, Schizophrenia is a mental illness which affects how people think and how they understand the world around them. The symptoms brought on could be things such as hallucinations or delusions to an extent that they can't tell what's fantasy and reality.
But now we know what Isaac is having to deal with in his personal life, it all makes complete sense as to why Sheree has been acting so protective of her son. Of course, at this moment in time, only Isaac and herself are aware about his diagnosis. I'm intrigued to see how the rest of the family are going to react once they find out the truth, Patrick, Denise and Kim. One thing I hope, is that Isaac isn't seen as a freak or anything, I don't mean that in a harsh way, but people might begin to think they he hears voices or something? I don't know, we'll have to wait and see. But poor Lola has also been left in the dark, for now. Sheree has warned her to stay away from her son, of course she means well where he son is concerned, but she didn't really go the right way about it. Isaac is left furious at his Mum when he learns that she was the one who warned Lola to stay away, but Isaac truly feels that he's ready to move on and have a relationship.
After learning from Patrick that Sheree warned Lola to stay away, Isaac storms to the salon to confront his Mother. In this moment, I kind of feel sorry for Sheree - well both of them really. I'm not too sure how long Isaac has had this illness, but he claims to have things under control where his medication is concerned. The fact that he hasn't had a normal life for a long time seems to be interesting, he admits to his Mum that he genuinely has feelings for Lola and is ready for some happiness in his life. But Sheree is deeply concerned, concerned that she doesn't want her son getting hurt if people find out the truth. This is where Isaac really passionately aches to be heard, he's not scared of his diagnosis and is ready to reveal it to the people close to him. He demands his Mum to say the name of his illness, but she simply refuses, which is when the big reveal is announced and we learn of his Schizophrenia. Later on, Lola is sat alone in the Cafe and Isaac is quick to join her, she claims that she's not willing to put her job on the line if her job is at risk if they were to start dating. But Isaac reassures her that he will put his Mother straight, regardless of her worries, and he convinces Lola to go out on another date.
I know this has have already, but I'm really looking forward to seeing Monday's episode tomorrow so I can comment on Lola's reaction to Isaac's medical news. Let's just hope things won't get worse for Isaac and he and Lola might be able to have a relationship that works, regardless of his mental illness.

Okay so we know that Ruby has been the main focus of these two episodes, but before we delve into her storyline, I want to mention Dotty. Early on in the week we saw her approach Ruby with a business proposition of having a hostess at the club, as a way of gaining more customers and making more money for the club. At first, Ruby seems really against the idea as it'll look as if they're prostituting young women. However, as the episodes have gone on, Dotty seems to have convinced Tiffany to be the hostess of the club, as she would be earning more money for herself and Keegan, in an exchange Dotty has allowed them to move into Sonia's house and live with her, Whitney and Kush. I guess it's fair to say that both Tiffany and Keegan have been struggling for money in recent months, with Keegan working at the club as bar-staff as well as doing his own sandwich business. But to get Ruby on board with this hostess idea, Dotty is eager to find out more information on Ruby. She approaches Tiffany and asks her to tell her everything she knows about the club owner, when she learns about Ruby's Dad and her past and how she became so wealthy, Dotty seems to approach Ruby - I'll mention Ruby's mental state and emotional state shortly, but Dotty catches her at the worst possible time. I thought that Dotty kind of manipulated Ruby into allowing to go forward with the hostess job, complimenting how far she has come in her life and how successful she's been, mentioning that they both have Dad's with bad reputations and she simply wants to make something of her life and make her Dad proud. All this seems to fall on deaf ears, Ruby understandably has other things on her mind, but when Dotty claims she wants 50% of the profits, Ruby claims that she'll have to settle for just 10% otherwise there will be no deal, to which Dotty happily agrees.
I wasn't going to mention much about it, but I do fear for Tiffany. Maybe taking this job at the club may not be a good idea? And how on Earth with Keegan react when he finds out? Tiffany has said she's going to keep it a secret from her husband for a while, until she's ready to tell him. But I guess she's only doing it so they can afford a house for themselves? What do you think? Could Tiffany be putting herself in danger?

Okay so the main event I need to mention is Ruby. Oh Ruby ... poor Ruby! I do really feel for her, but I feel like she's so struck by grief and loss that her whole world is crumbling around her. She tries to do something nice but things get thrown back into her face. So, before I mention the devastating loss that Ruby has gone through, we need to start with how this all happened and kicked off. Martin proposes to his wife that she deserves and break and plans a holiday to Greece during the Easter holidays, but Ruby voices her concerns about leaving the children behind during Easter, to which she suggests maybe taking the children with them. Of course that is a really nice gesture, I still can't tell whether she's trying to do one over Stacey or not, but it could simply be a nice gesture for the children, considering that during this moment, Ruby is pregnant and her child would be a sibling to Stacey's children. Unfortunately though, Stacey isn't too keen on her taking the children on holiday. It's revealed that they would take the children away for two weeks, which in Stacey's mind, gives Ruby enough time to turn her children against her. But really, why would Ruby do that if she was pregnant with her own child? Know what I mean?
To try and come up with some sort of an agreement, Stacey, Martin and Ruby decide to meet for a discussion about the holiday plans. However Stacey is furious when Ruby turns up with nail polish for Lilly, when just a few moments before Stacey refused to buy it for her daughter. Stacey once again feels like Ruby is wading in on her children, but honestly, I really don't think that's the case. All Ruby has ever truly wanted is to have a family of her own. To get away from the confrontation she goes to visit the restroom whilst Martin tries to calm Stacey down. Only when Ruby returns, she is visibly very quiet, only she doesn't approach the table to join Martin and Stacey. She grabs her phone and calls up the clinic, informing them that she's 7 weeks pregnant and worryingly, she's bleeding. Without anyone's knowledge, she goes on her own to the clinic where unfortunately the nurse can't seem to pick up a heartbeat on the baby monitor. Devastatingly, she has last her baby, the child she has always wanted.
The following day, she seems to be completely in a world of her own and the previous days events seem to play over and over again in her mind. Martin is trying to do his best to cheer up his wife, even making the kind gesture of putting the baby scan picture in a cute small baby picture frame. However, I still have to mention that that baby scan picture, really isn't hers. Perhaps she never got to have a picture scan? I'm assuming because she was only 7 weeks, she doesn't get a picture? Do you only get a picture when you're 12 weeks? I'm unsure. But regardless, she sadly has no baby scan picture of her own baby. Ruby tries to go on about her day, heading off to work, but whilst she's there Stacey pays her a visit, informing her that if she wants to take her children to Greece for a holiday, then she can pay for it because Stacey simply cannot afford it.
I found this scene between Ruby and Stacey really really gripping actually. Even though they seem to be at each other's throats right now, it was nice to see them actually having a conversation about their teenage years. Recalling on how their memories as best friends and their wishes of having children around the same time as each other, both being Mum's walking their prams around the Square, each of their children calling them "Auntie". I really enjoyed watching this moment, they truly were very best friends for a long time. It's a crying shame how things have changed between them. Okay, Ruby being with Stacey's ex-husband isn't a good start, but I don't know about you guys, but do you miss the friendship that they once had? Would you like it if they were to move on and forgive each other for their wrong doings and become friends again? Honestly, I think they both could do with a good friend right now.
Sadly, their discussion and happy memories doesn't last for long. Ruby claims that she can't see what Martin saw in Stacey, but to clash once again, Stacey gives her the same insult. Does Stacey still have feelings for Martin? Before she found out about them being married, Stacey did confess to Martin that she still loved him, but does her feelings still remain the same? Stacey claims that because she was married to him for quite a long time, plus she's the Mother of his children, she and Martin will always have a history and he will always hold a spark for her. As she goes to leave Ruby alone in the club, Ruby follows her asking her to elaborate on what she means. She stands her ground and informs her ex-best friend that she and her husband are solid and nothing and no one is ever going to come in between them.
As Stacey goes to leave, Ruby follows her up the stairs, but in the commotion of their argument, as Stacey turns to tell Ruby to leave her alone, Ruby's ankle gives way as she steps on one of the stairs and she goes falling backwards along the stairs. Of course Stacey is absolutely terrified for Ruby, knowing that she's pregnant and had a dangerous fall. She stays by her side and places a cushion under her head, calling up Martin to inform him of his wife's accident. Poor Ruby pleads Stacey not to leave her and they both clasp hands. Later on, when Ruby is alone in the hospital, Martin arrives after hearing the news from Stacey. As Ruby looks up at her husband, she absolutely crumbles and bursts into floods of tears. Apologising to her husband and claiming that she really tried, Martin tries his absolute best to console his devastated wife over the loss of their baby. Only, when me mentions that Stacey called him, Ruby is more than furious, I don't know whether it's the grief that's really struck her, or whether she's feeling angry for losing the child she's always wanted, who knows what she could be feeling? Maybe everything just builds inside of her, she makes the horrendous claim that Stacey is to blame for her losing her child as she sobs into Martin's arms.
I do feel that things are going to going to turn dark and more upsetting for all involved in this story. Of course Martin is going to believe his wife, which means that Stacey is going to have a huge battle to fight. If there wasn't a battle before, there most definitely will be a war. Ruby did sadly lose her baby, but Stacey was not to blame. To be honest, she had lost the baby even before she fell, she had miscarried the previous day when she bled and they nurse couldn't detect a heartbeat. But now she's taken a bad fall and Stacey was there, I suppose it gives her the opportunity to put Stacey in the frame and blame her, anything to get back at her, or to even keep her husband on side. Who knows? I do feel for Ruby, I really do, but blaming Stacey for something which wasn't her fault is really not the right thing to do.
As I said, I don't know whether because she's grieving, she's angry, jealous? She could be feeling all these emotions right. But one thing is for sure Stacey is going to have a huge battle on her hands now to prove her innocence. I'm really looking forward to reviewing Monday's episode. I might do the same thing tomorrow and blog about Monday's and Tuesday's episode together, just to make sure I catch up! Thank you all for reading, I apologise for this being so late, but all your support really means the world. I'll be back again tomorrow! Love you all xXx
"You Come Near My Wife Again, I'll Kill You!"
Thursday 18th February 2021
Hello again everyone! How are we all? After this post I will finally be up to date, I apologise how long it's taken me, but I'm happy to be able to catch up and review Thursday's episode!
Wow!!! This was episode was absolutely brilliant, everyone was kind of involved with each other in one way or another, it was as if everything and everyone entwined to get to this big moment! The first thing I'm going to focus on is Martin, Kush, Ruby and Stacey! After Iqra dropped the bombshell on Martin, informing him that Ruby was the brains behind the robbery at the Minute Mart, causing him to get attacked, he approaches his best friend, Kush, asking for his opinion and his advice. Could Ruby really be to blame? I guess it's understandable for Martin to find it hard to believe that his new wife could be to blame, however we and of course Kush knows more about Ruby than he's letting on. Kush suggests that Martin should just ask his new wife straight out, but Martin fears that if he was wrong, things will go down the path of another divorce and a broken family. (Although, when he finds out the truth, it's going to come to that anyway, right?) He tries his absolute best to convince himself that Iqra had got her facts wrong.
However, Kush only knows too well what Ruby is capable of. In need of searching for some more advice, Kush leans on Stacey, informing her about what Martin has revealed to him. But the most interesting thing is that Kush finally reveals to her that Ruby actually gave him money to run away with Arthur. Stacey, at first, can't seem to understand why Ruby would want to mess with her family and take away her child, but eventually it all makes sense! Ruby is jealous of Stacey's past with Martin and is desperate to have him all to herself! But she's done some really terrible things to get what she wants, even paying someone to attack Stacey in the streets! Stacey even suspects that Ruby could even be lying about being pregnant, as there still hasn't been any physical evidence of a pregnancy. So, instead of Kush having to worry about breaking up his friend's marriage, Stacey is adamant that she's going to reveal all of Ruby's lies to Martin and make him see what kind of person he's married!
As Martin returns to see his wife at work, she drops a huge hint that she has taken the afternoon off so they could have some "Fun" together, seductively wiping the paper off of her office desk. But unfortunately for Ruby, it's clear to see that Martin clearly isn't interested in getting intimate with his wife, especially after the accusations he's heard about her. Ruby can't seem to understand his reluctance, but he simply states that he's not in the mood. It seems as if every time Ruby has some alone time with her husband, she's wanting to get intimate, is this truly some kind of pregnancy hormone she has or, as we've been speculating, is she really not pregnant and is desperate to make her lie become the truth?!

Okay so this is where things are going to get interesting, before we delve into the fiasco regarding Phil, Max, and Mick, I just want to mention the little friendship blossoming between Sharon and Jean! I absolutely love it! I don't think we've ever seen these two be so pally, but it looks as if Jean has actually been there for Sharon, giving her advice on Phil. At first, she claimed that she believed that Sharon and Phil belonged together, almost getting Sharon's hope up that she might be able to rekindle her romance with him. However, when that didn't go to plan, Jean was there to once again be a friend and state to Sharon that she is a Queen and she could have any man she wanted, although there doesn't seem to be anyone else she's interested in. So, to cheer her up, Jean suggests having some chocolate - of course, chocolate always makes people happy! But when the go to the Minute Mart, Jean realises she's only 20p short and Suki is unwilling to let it slide, even though they offer to give it to her another time. As Jean looks visibly upset to leave the chocolate behind, Sharon quickly suggest that they be like Thelma and Louisa and nick the chocolate, stuffing the goodies up their tops! I just love how they both act like giggly school girls together, causing trouble. Not that I condone shop-lifting, but I just loved this moment between Jean and Sharon, I hope this won't just be a brief friendship, I do hope that this friendship blossoms and becomes something solid, what do you guys think?
Unfortunately, it looks as if Sharon's romance with Phil may have fizzled out and in Phil's eyes, be over. Phil seems to be enjoying some steamy time with Kat, what do you guys make of this pairing? I mean, it wasn't too long ago they were at each other's necks about money regarding their robbery attempt, now they're sleeping together! Crazy?! But as much as it appears to be a bit of fun right now, do you think it may lead to something more serious? After spending another night with Kat, he seems to realise that his deadline for Max is slowly coming to an end. Knowing that it's going to be difficult to get Sharon to sign the papers over, he takes a visit to Max, informing that he needs more time. But Max is having none of it and warns that if the Queen Vic papers aren't signed over to the Carter's by the end of the day, he will take the memory stick he has of all Phil's criminal history to the police!
--
Before his confrontation with Phil, Max was on the street of Walford, of course he was looking for Linda, but he ended up bumping into Stacey. I have to mention this brief interaction, as Stacey states that it had been 11 years since Bradley's death! I can't even begin to believe it's been that long the soap has been without Bradley, I have to be honest though, it makes me happy that still after all this time, they still mention his name. He hasn't been forgotten! There are some deaths that you do forget about, but the likes of Pat, Peggy, Ronnie, Roxy, Danielle, Barry, Jamie - you just don't forget and Bradley is one of them too! I also loved the fact that after all this time, Stacey still holds a photograph of him in her purse. I don't know about you guys but I feel that Bradley will always be her one true love! She questions whether Max had remembered the day, but admits he tries not to think about it as it hurts too much. It's then he clocks Linda and hurries to catch her, he claims that he understands why she chose Mick over him to which she is a little confused, but he informs her that he actually knows the full reason why. To her shock, Linda is absolutely devastated and is desperate to know how he found out the truth about Mick, Max admits he found out through Jack.
Now this is the biggest mistake he could've done! Informing Linda the truth, Jack arrives back at the house after Max has had his confrontation with Phil. Jack informs him that he knows that Max has spoken to Linda, because it's all turned back on him. Linda went to the police station and complained and now it's caused Jack to be suspended and potentially lose his job! Because of Max's selfish acts once again, he's put his brother's job in jeopardy! In an attempt to try and do the right thing, Jack decides to apologise to Mick, even though he's completely unaware that they know about his past. But this is where it all kicks off! Jack fully admits that he told Max about Mick's past, but the only reason Jack found out was plainly innocent, seeing him at the police station. This information get's a bit too much for Mick and he knows he has to confront Max once and for all!
--
Whilst all this happening, Phil takes it upon himself to visit Sharon at the Vic. He informs her that she basically has no choice in selling the Vic over to the Carter's. As much as it hurts her and she's adamant she doesn't want to leave, Phil questions whether she is really really happy living there, I guess you could say it is emotional blackmail, but Phil is desperate to get himself out of trouble. He asks her if she had any feeling left for him, he would do as he's asking, otherwise he's going to end up in prison! Phil informs her that Max has something dirty on him and if he was to hand it into the police, not just Phil, but possibly Sharon would be done for! He promises that even if the Vic gets back into the Carter's hands, he'll make sure Sharon is looked after and provided for.
Finally it all comes to this point as everyone gathers in the Vic, Max walks in waiting to hear news from Phil, eventually Phil comes down and informs him that they have a deal, Sharon is willing to sign the Queen Vic over back to Mick and Linda. In exchange, Max willingly hands over the memory stick. However, Max's smug face doesn't last for long as Mick and Linda both enter the Vic and approach him. Max acknowledges them and informs them that he has good news, but Mick isn't interested in hearing it. He warns Max just simply stay away from his wife. But Max just doesn't seem to listen does he? He kind of oversteps the mark here, he claims the only reason why Linda is still with him, is out of pity! Mick only responds by giving Max a good punch in the face, making him fly across the room and collapsing in a booth! I also have to state I don't condone violence, but Max had it coming really didn't he?!
Overall a brilliant episode, I loved how everything linked and came together! Brilliant script writing and amazing performances from everyone involved. Jake Wood, Danny Dyer, Steve McFadden, Scott Maslen - everyone! I apologise for this post being late, but I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it! I'll be back again tomorrow following Friday's episode! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx

"Do You Really Think You Can Live With That? Do You?!"
Tuesday 16th February 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all having a good week! As promised, I'm making sure I catch up completely so by the time tonight's episode (Thursday) is aired, I'll be able to review that tomorrow morning! That way I'm all up to date along with the rest of you! There's quite a lot going on in the soap at the minute, I'm really looking forward to seeing which direction the storylines will go! Monday's episode ended with a bit of a surprise - Phil and Kat?! Let's see if things follow up from that! Anyway let's jump straight into Tuesday's episode.
The first thing I'm going to focus on is Ash and Peter! So the episode begins with them returning from a night out, it looks as if they've been out all night drinking, as much as Peter is eager to keep fun going, Ash is adamant that she wants to go home as she's beginning to feel really rough. However, once again Peter still attempts to hit on her, I don't know about you guys, but is anyone else finding Peter, I don't know a bit, desperate? She jokes that even if he was to run around the Square naked, she still wouldn't be interested in him, but then her innocent joke turns out to be a bet, something which Peter decides to go through with. Later on when Ash is home sobering up, she receives a knock on the door. to her shock Peter is stood on her front door step, wearing a cape and joking gear, however, taking her up on her bet he decides to strip down to nothing, wearing only the cape and jog around the Square. Of course the locals, including Ash and Stacey enjoy watching the show Peter puts on for them, personally - I found it cringeworthy - I don't know, some people might've found it funny, I mean as respectable as the way it was filmed, I just found it cringey! But the one part I did find hilarious was when Peter got so far and actually ended up falling flat on his face! I have to admit, I did laugh out loud when that happened, not meaning to be harsh! It eventually becomes clear that Peter has really injured his head, so Ash takes it upon himself to rush him to the hospital, however this decision soon becomes her biggest mistake.
Whilst Peter is getting seen too, the nurse is constantly getting interrupted to handle other situations, Peter notifies that he's in agony and begs Ash to give him the morphine he's been prescribed. However, Ash knows full well she's not supposed to as she's not on duty, but seeing her friend pleading for the pain relief, she actually gives him the dose of morphine. Unfortunately, she should've stuck to her guns and not given him the dose, a nurse returns and sees the medication has been used, clearly someone has tampered with it or giving it to Peter without their knowledge. Peter claims to have done it to himself, but the nurse isn't convinced, Ash was the only one there who knew how to prescribe the morphine. Ash is in very very deep water right now, giving a patient medication, whilst not on duty, dressed in her pyjamas and also smelling of alcohol, this is not going to look good on her records. She ends up being suspended and under investigation! Peter has now caused his friend to be in deep trouble. I really don't know about you guys, but I really hope that Peter and Ash do not become a couple, I think Ask could do so much better than him! What do you guys think? Am I being unfair or do you maybe think the same thing? I've love to hear your thoughts!
--
The second thing I need to talk about is Iqra! I really do feel for her going through all this, knowing that her girlfriend lied to her and that her sister has now moved away and is pregnant with someone who is stuck in prison for something he didn't do! But since finding out the truth, knowing that Ruby was also involved with the attack against Martin, Iqra is finding it really difficult to keep quiet. Whilst in the Cafe, she happens to notice Martin walk in and attempting to be the polite neighbour she asks how is wife is, acknowledging that she hasn't seen his wife for a while, but when Martin mentions that Ruby isn't drinking at the moment, Iqra makes a joke asking whether or not she's pregnant, of course the look on Martin's face says it all and Iqra is surprised to hear the news, she congratulates him regardless. Martin begs her not to say anything as it's early days in the pregnancy and no one else knows, as Martin makes a quick exit, Vinny appears and approaches Iqra as she's sat alone, she tries to appeal to her good nature, trying to persuade her not to give up on Ash, he understands her disappointment for being lied to, but pleads her not to punish Ash for standing by her family and for something that actually he did instead of her. As much as it hurts her, there's a brief look she gives that looks as if that she's think that what Vinny is saying is true, all Ash was doing was really looking out for her family, regardless of the horrendous outcome. Later on as she's leaving the Cafe, she happens to witness the events taking place in the Square, (Peter running around naked), as she watches on she notices Ash from across the Square cheering Peter on. Iqra knows that she can't see herself getting back with Ash, there's too much water under the bridge and she appears to be moving on anyway, it's blatantly obvious that Ash and Peter have been flirting and Ash has done nothing to stop Peter's advances towards her. Iqra decides to escape the scene in front of her and head to the Vic.
Later she happens to spot both Ruby and Martin. It looks as if enough is enough for Iqra, why should Ruby enjoy what she's got while she knows her loved ones are having to suffer, especially considering that Ruby is to blame for everything. She discreetly congratulates Ruby on her pregnancy news, however Ruby looks mortified. Martin informs her that Iqra guessed, it's then that Iqra drops quite few hints regarding that fact that Habiba is pregnant and alone whilst Jags in prison. Ruby doesn't even bat an eyelid, informing her that her family issues has nothing to do with her. Interestingly, Martin mentions that he's glad that Jags is prison, of course from his point of view his children could've lost their Dad becomes of what he did - ONLY JAGS DIDN'T DO IT!!! As Martin leaves the Vic, Ruby warns Iqra to stay out of her marriage, but Iqra knows that Ruby has gone way too far, eventually she gets the courage to confront Martin, visiting him at home, knocking on his door and revealing the truth, Ruby was to blame for his attack as she was the one who paid Vinny to rob the shop! It wasn't Jags who attacked him, it was Vinny, but Ruby is to blame just as much as he is! Will Martin believe Iqra? As far as I know, things aren't going to be looking good for Ruby, I believe her world is going to crumble around her. Do you think she'll deserve it? Will Martin confront his wife?! I'm really eager to see where things go from here!
--
The final thing I need to mention is Phil! So during the previous episode, we saw Max searching high for low for type of documents of some kind, eventually he found a memory stick which hold all the criminal past of Phil! In this episode, it becomes perfectly clear why Max is looking for information on Phil, he takes it upon himself to give him a visit. He warns him that he has ever piece of criminal history on him on that memory stick, blackmailing him, teasing him that the police would have a field day if they got their hands on it. Phil knows he has to act fast in order for him not to pass it on to the police, he questions what Max is after, asking him how much money he is wanting in exchange for the memory stick. But Max isn't interested in money, instead he drops the bombshell that he wants him to sign the papers of the Queen Vic over to Mick Carter. Of course, in Max's mind, he's doing this for Linda - if he can get Mick his pub back, then Linda will be free to leave her husband and have a life with him. Unfortunately, I can't see it going that way. Phil is stunned and claims that it's not that easy as it's Sharon's home, but Max also states that the police will also be interested in learning what they both did to Ian. It comes to Phil's realisation that Max isn't messing around, he could ruin them if he didn't follow his instructions. Max announces that he'll give him 24 hours to get the papers signed over to Mick, otherwise the police will come knocking. Phil, at this moment, is kind of stuck in a corner. As much as it hurts him, he knows he has to inform Sharon.
Poor Sharon has absolutely no idea what's been going on. I find it funny yet awkward and cute that Sharon is hopeful in getting back with Phil. As she's chatting away with Jean, Jean acknowledges that she and Phil belong together - obviously, both of them are completely unaware that Kat had slept with him the previous evening. As Kat thinks on her feet, unless it's the guilt that's starting to eat away at her, she attempts to be nice to Sharon, mentioning that she could do so much better than Phil, she's a good looking woman and could have any young stud man she wanted. However, Sharon seems to take her compliment completely the wrong way, suggesting that Kat is mentioning someone like Keanu, who we all know she had an affair with. Kat tries to apologise but Sharon is having none of it, the two powerful women clash and Kat storms out. As she does so, she notices Phil waiting at the bar, it's then she mentions to him that she'll be ready for round two whenever he will be. Do you think Phil and Kat could become a new couple? Will this be more than just a romp? Who knows? Eventually Sharon notices Phil waiting at the bar, as she approaches him he asks whether they can talk privately. Jean eyes Sharon in a hopeful sort of way, getting poor Sharon's hopes up, but unfortunately Phil has only arrived to deliver the bad news. She's furious to learn about Max's threats and voices her fears about losing the place she loves most. However, Phil tries his absolute best to make her understand that having the Vic will not replace Dennis, plus the pub was bought with bloody money, how will she be able to live with herself knowing that? At least if they sign over to Mick Carter, everything would be legal and completely above board.
Will Sharon agree to giving the pub back to the Carter's? She's already been threatened by Linda, now Max is also threatening to go to the police, it looks almost as if they have no choice. I'm sure Phil won't see Sharon out onto the streets, but it looks as if if they want to keep the police away, they're going to have to do what they're being asked. How else can they make this problem go away? Overall, a really good episode I thought! I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next! I apologise for this post being late but I'll be back again tomorrow following Thursday's episode! Please feel free to leave me a comment or message, I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of the current storylines! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx
"So Are You!"
Tuesday 5th January 2021
Hello again everyone! Well, we're back in lockdown, I hope you're all keeping safe and looking after yourselves. This has got to come to end at some point right? Considering that the UK has been put into another lockdown, for those of you who are wondering, EastEnders have confirmed that they will still be carry on filming with plenty more social distancing policies in place. I'm very pleased to hear this news, I felt it was hard when EastEnders had to go off air, I was so thrilled when it returned to our screens. Also it doesn't even phase me that the episodes only last 20 minutes, I know it might be annoying some of you guys, but it doesn't matter how long an episode lasts, we're still getting our daily Easties fix!
Now about last night's episode, there's quite a bit to cover, there were quite a few moments I got completely confused, but by the end it all made sense! I'll explain more of that a little later, but first lets focus on Kush and the Slater family. Poor Stacey is completely beside herself, fearing the worst that Kush has kidnapped her son and taken him to Dubai! Kush is still in hope that Whitney will help with the funds he needs to get away, only when she turns up empty handed and refusing to help with his plan, he can see his chances to get away have slumped! Whitney tells him some pretty hard hitting truths, regardless whether he thinks he's doing the right thing for Arthur, Whitney tells him that his actions could force Arthur to hate him, taking him away from his Mum and family, this fact seems to really play on Kush's mind. Back on the Square Stacey and Martin are contemplating calling the police, stating the fact that Kush hasn't left them any choice, only just before they're able to dial, a taxi pulls up and little Arthur is seen getting out. Stacey is overcome with relief as she rushes to her little boy and scoops him up in her arms. Kat really isn't best impressed as she approaches her boyfriend and gives him a huge slap around the face! Regardless of emotions being so high, Ruby is there with a really smug looking face watching everything unfold in front of her! Once inside, Kat lays into Kush about his actions, it's quite hard really because I feel for them both, even though Kush did have it coming! I feel, if Kush hadn't started his gambling addiction, he wouldn't be in this awful mess. Kat mentions how she felt safe with him after being lied to so many times by Alfie. It's clear to see she is in deep distress after being lied to again and again, after being betrayed by someone she truly loved and trusted. Even though Kush is apologetic and trying to persuade her that he'll change, she can't seem to find a way back from this announces their relationship is over. What do you think? Will they be able to work it out? Do you like Kat and Kush together?! Later on, when Ruby is at home, Kush knocks on her door and bursts his way in, blaming her for putting the idea in his head an even more so of giving him the money to flee, in an attempt to blackmail her, he announces that he'll be moving in with her and Martin, seeing as he has no where to go, and if Ruby declines, he'll inform Martin about her giving him the money to take Arthur away, from the look of Ruby's face - she simply has no choice but to let him stay!

The second thing I want to focus on, is Sharon! It looks as if she is still wanting to carry on with her plan and poison Ian. After Phil eventually agreed on helping her take down Ian, she visits him hoping to receive more pills to poison him with, but when he gives her such a small amount, she's not impressed. She informs him that it's not enough and that she needs more, but Phil warns her they need to take it slowly, make it look real, and not give him too many in one go. She seems disappointed but leaves with with pills nonetheless. Back at the Vic, she's prepping the pills and adding them to Ian's coffee, only Linda seems to interrupt her and takes her by surprise. Linda appears with little Ollie as she comes to visit her friend and comes to seek some advice after getting things back on track with Mick, as they begin their catch up, Linda encourages Ollie to go and play with Albie. Later on and Sharon seems to forget what she was previously doing, and enjoys her chat with Linda, little Ollie comes walks in - I'm assuming he's wanting a drink - as he walks straight up to counter and goes to grab the mug left on the side, the mug which contains Ian's poisoned coffee! Luckily, Sharon notices the little boy's actions before any harm can be done, but because she shouted at him so loudly, she scares the poor boy. Linda seems surprised by actions but she thinks quick and explains that she didn't want Ollie having so much caffeine. Linda seems to shake her friends behaviour off, but it looks as if Sharon can't afford to lose her focus, otherwise an innocent party could be badly hurt.

Lastly, the main focus of this episode was Callum and Jack! Previously, Jack had agreed to help Callum out, regarding DI Thompson. Callum feared that if Thompson was going to reveal everything, he'd lose Ben and his place in the Mitchell family for good. The only person he could turn to and actually trust to help him, was Jack. In this episode, Callum informs Jack that a meeting has been arranged with DI Thompson at Ruby's club, at first it all looks like they have a plan in motion to maybe blackmail Thompson, bullying Callum into doing things he shouldn't be doing etc etc. Callum waits nervously, DI Thompson enters and Callum begins to mention that he has something solid on Phil that he'll be interested in - of course it's just an excuse to keep him there until Jack shows up, however Callum begins to panic and struggles under pressure as Jack fails to turn up. My first thought was - where the hell was Jack? Unfortunately, I don't think that question gets answered. Thompson is clearly getting fed up of Callum and his excuses and makes his exit, leaving Callum in a panic. As he attempts to follow, Jack finally turns up, much to Callum's relief. Jack informs Callum to leave as he'll take it from here - it's then that Jack confronts Thompson with what he's been up to the past couple of months and forcing a junior police officer to do things he shouldn't be doing. To save him getting in any trouble, he urges DI Thompson to take early retirement and leave Phil to him. At this moment, I slightly panicked - it had me questioning as to who's side Jack was actually on?! I was so confused - one minute he was helping Callum, the next, helping Thompson! - WHAT?!
But then Jack found Callum and informed him that everything had been sorted, there was no more reason for him to worry and he could tell the Mitchell's everything. Being the supportive colleague, Jack accompanies Callum to the Mitchell's as they reveal everything about DI Thompson's plan. At first both Ben and Phil are furious to hear that Callum was involved, but they both make them see that everything he did was to protect the Mitchell's, putting his career on the line for them! Ben seems to realise how much Callum has gone through to protect him and proposes going to the pub for a drink. However, as Ben and Callum leave, Phil can't seem to understand why Jack would get involved, he senses that something isn't right and he's after something - it's then that Jack reveals to Phil that Thompson has given him a memory stick containing everything that Phil has done in the past up till present day of his dodgy and petty crimes. Phil sees that Jack will want something from him in return if he wants all this to disappear, but what?!
Meanwhile at the pub, Callum is confessing everything to Ben. Informing him that he just wants to be honest with his boyfriend and most importantly, he'd do anything to protect him - even if it means putting his career on the line! Ben is completely overwhelmed by his boyfriend's actions. It's then that Jay walks in and Callum offers to buy the next round of drinks. As he steps up to the bar, Ben looks lovingly at his boyfriend, to which Jay notices, asking what the look was for, Ben innocently smiles and states clear as day "I'm going to marry that man, Jay!" ......... Oooooh I'm sure you Ballum fans will be going crazy after that line!!! Is this a slight hint that there could be a Ballum wedding on the cards? Here's an interesting question - who would you like to see pop the question? Ben to Callum? or Callum to Ben? - Personally I think if Ben was to pop the question to Callum, it would fit so perfectly!!

The final clip we see is Denise walking through the Square, however unbeknown to her, Lucas is following her from a distance! Can I just say how bloody creepy that was? Clearly Lucas is still has it in for his ex, but why?! Denise really needs to keep on her guard! As she reaches her house, suddenly Jack appears with a huge bouquet of flowers, and admits to Denise that he wants to give them both another try. Even though Denise is touched by his romantic gesture, she questions whether he's accepting of having Phil in her life, literally because of Raymond - it's then that things are made clear. Jack informs her that she doesn't have to worry about Phil as he has sorted it - which basically means that they've made some kind of deal, Jack won't dob him into the police as long as Phil stays away from Denise and Raymond ... That's got to be it, right? Even though Phil may have agreed to this arrangement, I do fear he may find it hard, knowing full well that his son is just on the other side of the Square. Then again, I suppose he could take comfort in knowing that his son is close to home. Who knows? As Jack and Denise close in for a kiss and rekindle their romance, Lucas watches with dark eyes from a distance!! He is so creepy, I am so glad that EastEnders have brought him back, it's going to be so interesting to see what brings Lucas back, Denise had best watch her back!
Overall a great episode, enjoyable and again so much drama! Thank you again for reading, I truly appreciate your time. Please feel free to leave me any messages or comments, I'll always find the time to reply! Thanks again folks! Love you all xXx
"KAT!"
Friday 27th November 2020
Hello again everyone, hope you're all doing well! I apologise for this one being a little late, I was in work last night so I've only got round to catch up today. The previous episode ended on such a cliff-hanger, I'm really looking forward to seeing what's going to happen in the episode.
Let's waste no time and jump straight in, the episode begins pretty much where the previous episode ended. Phil has successfully found a recorder which was bugged inside the Arches by Callum, however as Phil throws it to the floor and crushes it with his foot to destroy it, little does he know that Callum is watching from the footwell below and watches him crush the device. Phil is absolutely enraged as he leaves the Arches, leaving Callum in absolute dismay - what does this mean now though? Does that mean all his evidence against Phil is now lost? Or has DI Thompson managed to hear enough to convict Ben or Phil? Also, will Phil find out that Callum was the one who planted the recorder?! We know he's not going to be happy when he does!
Meanwhile, up in Whitney's loft, Kat is explaining her reasons to Kush as to why she's not that all keen in leaving the Square. But in all fairness, Kush doesn't really want to leave the Square either as he'll be leaving his son behind, but he really feels he has no other choice. However as Kat has her doubts, he kneels beside and proposes a plan, to flee with her and the kids to France just for short period of time, mainly over the Christmas period as it'll give them some time to get away from everything and also be able to spend time together with the children, he even suggests that everyone else could visit - Stacey, Jean and Mo! It looks as if Kush is running out of time, but he pleads for Kat to at least think about his offer, but warns she shouldn't take too long.
Returning to the Mitchell household, Phil storms into the house, with Ben none the wiser, Phil throws the recording device on the living room table in front of Ben, informing him that he's just found it in the Arches and that with it still recording, it must've been planted there recently. Ben is absolutely stunned as Shirley makes her way into the room, after being contacted by Phil. She also notices the recording device and between them all they all begin to question all the possible suspects who could've planted it, who has been in the Arches recently?! Danny, Dotty, Gray - even Callum? But then Phil announces that he's got an idea of who the culprit could be! As he makes his exit, Shirley instructs Ben to make any calls to see if can find out any information, as she makes her leave, Callum enters the house and of course, acting absolutely none the wiser asks his boyfriend what's gong on.
The next scene shows both Mick and Linda returning to their apartment after going shopping, of course, viewers will know that in the previous episode, whilst waiting for Linda in the parking lot, Mick was left in the car and it seems that he was having dark thoughts about committing suicide and driving his car straight into a wall. As they return home, Mick suggests that when Linda goes to pick up Ollie, she should take his superhero costume, which has a stain on it, to Tina - as she may be able to convince the young boy to wear it. As Linda agrees, she begins to mention the idea of maybe they all should wear costumes and have a family photoshoot - however Mick becomes a little distracted as he hears his Mum's voice coming from the Square, he looks out the window as he hears her shouting to Phil to calm down! Before Linda can finish what she's saying, he rushes out the apartment to see what's going on.
Out on the Square, Phil is marching towards the Slater household, as he reaches the front door, he bangs aggressively and calls for Kat. Shirley follows him, still asking him to calm down. After banging against the door and windows a couple of times, Jean answers the door is a right state, asking what's going on. The poor woman hasn't got a clue what has happened, as Phil barges himself in looking for Kat, Shirley apologises to her fragile friend and follows Phil. As Phil searches the house for Kat, suddenly Mick makes an appearance asking to speak to his Mum (Talk about timing!) - He claims that what he needs to speak to her about is really important, however of course being in the middle of what's happened with Mitchells and Slaters recently, Shirley is torn between calming down Phil and helping her son. Like I just said, Mick didn't really pick the best of times to speak to his Mum, he could clearly see she had her hands full at that moment in time. Shirley asks whether Mick can wait until later on, but he's adamant he needs to speak to her now, but sometimes it's not that easy just to drop everything. Mick once again seems disappointed as his Mum doesn't step up and speak to him, he walks off once again leaving Shirley feeling completely torn. I do think Mick kind of dropped Shirley in a difficult situation there, he could clearly see she was in the middle of something that looked important, so why choose now to want to speak to her? Considering he's been speaking like to crap to her over the past few weeks!
Meanwhile, Kat is sat on her own in the Cafe, from the looks of things she's looking as if she's in deep thought, possibly thinking about and considering Kush's offer?! As she sits alone, Jack questions her from across the room whether she's seen or heard from Kush. Sarcastically she replies to him with "No comment, Officer!" - of course Jack was just asking as a neighbour and a friend, not as a police officer, even though he knows what Kush is wanted for. It's then that Sonia makes her way into the Cafe - looks like she has returned from her trip after seeing Bianca, Kat is surprised to see her. However as the conversation continues between the both of them, it becomes aware that Sonia has no idea that Kush has been hiding in her attic. Sonia suggests to Kat that she should pop over for a get together with everyone, including the family, as Kat agrees to her invitation, her phone beings to ring. As she answers, Jean is on the other end, obviously informing her about the commotion that's happening over at their house, Kat leaves in a hurry, but as she leaves Jack watches with a suspicious look.
Back at the Slater household, Jean is looking nervous as tensions are rising, she asks Shirley whether she can tell her what's going on, but the only thing Shirley is able to tell her is that Phil and Kat have been involved in some form of business together. You can see clearly from Jean's face that she's not happy about the idea, she's eager to know what kind of business, but Kat interrupts the conversation before anything more can be revealed to poor Jean. She persuades both Shirley and Jean to make themselves scarce, as things could get ugly between the too. As she walks in to speak to Phil alone, it's then he informs her about what he's found and it becomes perfectly clear who he's blaming. Kat is stunned to hear what Phil's saying - as she says - why would she go through everything just to plant a bug in the Arches and have the police come running?! But then Phil suspects that if it wasn't her that it would have to have been Kush, then that way as soon as they get their share of the money, they would contact the police and have Phil and Ben arrested. Not in so many words, Kat denies knowing anything about the recorder whilst also defending her boyfriend.
Returning to the Square, Ben and Callum are seen leaving the Mitchell household, as they see Shirley across the Square, they're eager to know what's happening. She explains to them that Kat and Phil are having words inside, however it's not long that they make an appearance onto the Square themselves. As Kat and Phil's voices begin to raise, Ben is wary of them making a scene as there could be too many eyes and ears around, observing. Suddenly Callum speaks up and claims that it has nothing to do with Kat - Oh, for a split moment it makes you think that he's going to maybe admit to something - everyone falls silent and looks towards Callum, even Ben questions his boyfriend. It's then that Callum point out that you can see it in Kat's eyes that she's not lying, it's then that he proposes that she swears on her children's lives that she knows nothing, she loves her kids more than anything, it would become clear that if she was to swear on their lives, everyone would come to realise that she has nothing to do with it. Kat agrees and swears on Tommy, Bert and Ernie's lives.
Meanwhile at the Minute Mart, Honey looks to be in her own world as Jay enters the shop, as their conversation continues, it looks as if the shop isn't doing so well, due to the article on the Walford Gazette about Suki offering bribes. Has that taken affect on Suki's business? Does no one want to shop there anymore? If this continues, it looks as if the Panesar's might be in some trouble! As Honey informs Jay of how quiet the store has been, Suki listens in as Honey gossips about her. Suki makes it that little bit awkward as she approaches Honey after she's spoken to Jay, she confronts her with a serious looking stare, you can sense the awkwardness in the room!
At Ruby's club, Mick is sat alone while Sonia makes friendly conversation to him. She informs him she's just seen Linda in the park with Ollie and explains that Ollie has found himself engrossed in one of Mack's console games that Tina is trying to prise it off of him. Mick smiles as he hears the gossip about his little boy. He attempts a smile as he attempts to inform Sonia that he's hiding away to stay clear from all the commotion. Sonia giggles and informs him that he'd better show his face soon, and she takes her leaves from the club. Mick continues to sit alone with his thoughts, he grabs his phone and decides to dial a number, eventually the caller on the end picks up and he asks for their help. Who on Earth could he be calling?!
Meanwhile at the Panesar household, Kheerat has a bit of unfortunate news for his Mum. It turns out that since the article about Suki was released in the newspaper, they've lost a number of contracts, another 3 just from that morning. Suki seems to act like it's nothing, much to Kheerat's surprise. He's concerned that his Mum has seemed to stop caring about their businesses, but Suki is quick to defend herself and make sure that her son knows that if anyone crosses her, she will fight back. Even if it means going up against Ian Beale. Is Suki aware that it was Ian who sold his story about her to the newspaper?! Because I'm sure she's not going to be one to take it lightly, she will be blaming Ian for their bad luck in losing contracts and she will be out for revenge, I'm sure about that!
Back up in Whitney and Sonia's attic, Kat appears to be informing Kush about what's been happening with the Mitchell's. Kush is absolutely stunned to hear that Phil appears to be blaming him for planting the recording device. It looks like now more than ever he needs to flee the Square, however as Kat is throwing him his belongings, she happens to say the word "We" - was that a slip of the tongue? Or has she made her mind up and decided to flee Walford with him? Suddenly they happen to hear commotion from below, Kat hushes them to be quiet so they can hear what's happening. Downstairs Whitney answers the door to Jack who's come to sort out the loft and sort out Bex's and Amy's belongings. Of course, Jack is completely unaware to Kush hiding in their loft, and it would be really awkward if Jack was to find him. Thinking quickly on her feet, Whitney offers Jack a quick drink, explaining that the stuff in the loft doesn't need to be sorted straight away and he can do it another time, however Jack seems pretty adamant to get the job done. Having to act really quickly as slowly begins to make his way up the stairs, she claims to have found a rat or a mouse in the kitchen and asks for his help, to which he finally agrees to assist.
Returning to Mick in the club, he appears to be talking to someone, speaking about how his visit to Lee would help him clear his head and sort things. He explains that it did for a short while, but once he arrived back on the Square, everything came flooding back and it became clear that the issue hadn't disappeared at all. As the camera spins around we can see that the person Mick is speaking to is Katy, she questions whether his problem is related to something or someone closer to home, but then he makes the big revelation that the issue is in fact her and Frankie. He explains that since her arrival to the Square, he can't stop thinking about her. He keep revisiting every memory in his head and he informs her that she is the only one who understands what he's going through, as she was there when everything happened. Of course, in his mind, he thinks that she must feel the same - maybe? She must have had the same emotions that he has had, after having to relive everything that happened in their past? But of course, we know that truth. It looks as if he doesn't understand or want to believe that he was a victim of sexual assault, he has convinced himself that he and Katy were maybe one a couple. He pleads to her for her help. He pleads to help her stop him - stop him from what? Having these dark suicidal thoughts? Stop him from reliving his past?! What does he mean exactly?!
Meanwhile, back at with Whitney and Jack. He informs her that he hasn't been able to locate the rat or mouse. As Whitney tries her absolute best to stop him from heading upstairs, she's adamant that she saw a rat. Suddenly her phone pings and we see that Kat has sent her a message informing her that they're leaving the attic and heading downstairs. As Jack seems to grow agitated, Whitney asks his help to sort out the food and music as she puts on the stereo player and urges Jack to dance with her. As he seems really reluctant to dance, a bang can be heard from the hallway which catches Jack's attention. He seems to click on Whitney's weird outbursts and goes to investigate, unfortunately finding both Kat and Kush on the stairs. He's disappointed in Whitney from trying to distract him, he forces both Kat and Kush inside the living room, he informs them both with himself being a police officer he needs to hold out his duty. He informs Kush that he's a wanted man, for assaulting a police officer and for stealing motors. Kush pleads to him to let Kat and Whitney go, if he does so, Kush will hold his hands up and come quietly to the police station. Only, as Jack agrees to go with Kush's suggestion, he's attacked and knocked out from behind as Kat wallops him over the head with the stereo player, leaving everyone in the house absolutely stunned by her actions.
Returning to the club, Mick informs Katy about the dark thoughts he had about driving himself into the brick wall, he explains that the only thing that stopped him was Linda coming back to the car to collect some bags. He questions her, what if it was to happen again? What if happens again and worse yet, Linda and/or Ollie are inside the car with him? Would he be able to stop himself and also put their lives in danger also?! He informs Katy that he's convinced he needs to talk to someone or get some therapy, seek some kind of help. However, I noticed that Katy is quick to state that seeing a shrink won't help, as she explains (in a twisted way) that no one else understand like the way she does, no shrink will care like the way she does. In her twisted ways, is she maybe to trying to convince Mick to not see a shrink as she fears he may inform them about his sexual encounters, which may expose her crimes?! That is exactly what I'm thinking she's doing! What do you guys think?! She also reminds him that she was there whilst he was in care and she reassures him that she was there to help him then, and she wants to help him just as much now. Even sinking a lot lower that he shouldn't tell anyone and leave it between the two of them! I do feel for Mick during this conversation, as you can see he is deeply struggling with his thoughts and emotions here, he's teary as he pleads for her help. Suddenly, Mick pleads to Katy to help him with one thing, she's eager to help him with whatever he needs, but to her surprise, he informs her that he wants to go back to the home that he grew up in, he believes that if he was to visit it again, it may help. Of course, she seems to swerve him off explaining that the building isn't even a home anymore and it's all boarded up, but that doesn't seem to register, he pleads for her to go with him to the home they once lived in together. Ooooh, something tells me this story with Mick and Katy is going eventually get darker and darker, what do you guys think? It's going to be long process/storyline, but I'm hoping that in time, Katy's crimes will come to light to the Carter family and everyone will be able to rally round and support Mick in his time of need.
The final scene of this episode, back on the Square, Kat and Kush are hurrying the children into their car, as Kat makes the children comfortable, Stacey is calling out for her cousin explaining that she doesn't have to flee, the police are after Kush, not her. But Kat can't take that risk, considering she's just assaulted Jack. Kush worries about not saying "Goodbye" to Arthur but Kat rushes him into the car, they need to get away as soon as they can. Suddenly, Jack appears from the Fowler household and rushes towards the car, Stacey alerts her cousin and she manages to speed off with Kush and the children in the vehicle before Jack can get to them and and quickly speed off around the corner. Jack is visibly irritated, but I do feel for Stacey, having to watch her family flee.
So, what does this mean? I do believe that even though Davood Ghademi is leaving the soap, his final scenes as Kush won't be until 2021! So something is telling me that eventually they will return? Maybe just before Christmas? Who knows? But something is going to bring them back to the Square. But what? Overall another drama packed episode! What do you think is going to happen with Mick? His story could go on for a long time, but if it is going to be a revelation of sexual abuse, they could do it brilliant justice! I think this is one of the main stories I'm looking forward to seeing progress and eventually revealed! What are you guys looking forward to? Any story-lines grabbing your attention? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions, please feel free to leave me a message or any comments! I'd love to hear from you! Thanks again folks! Love you all xXx
