This one is all photo. Go figure.
I participated in a photo walk last night downtown, which was sort of a success for me. I don’t think the walk leader chose a poor route, but I had already photographed about half of the places he chose, so it was tougher for me to find things to shoot in such a short time frame. I also felt the need to constantly change lenses, which just wasn't an option. The good news, however, was that my hip and leg didn't give me one bit of trouble, which was a major worry for me.
The one person I absolutely didn’t want to find my photography Instagram not only found it, but followed it too. Crap. To say our styles are different would be an understatement. I know I should be flattered that this person would want to follow me, but right now I’m just totally bugged about it.Â
I recently booked my first maternity shoot, for which I am both super excited and flat out terrified. Thankfully, there are a lot of resources online and I now have a ton of new ideas. Now if only the studio I want to use would respond and let me know that my time slot is reserved.
The mama-to-be also wants me to do a newborn shoot once the baby arrives. So now take the terror I feel over the maternity shoot and multiply it by 100. That might get you close to where I am regarding the newborn shoot. I can’t even think about that one right now. I just can’t.
Ash finally sat down with me to start planning her senior portraits, and we have some really great ideas on outfits, locations, props, etc. With our current schedules (both mine and hers), we will have to do this in stages, and get moving on the shoots before the snow hits. Which will, of course, probably be tomorrow.
