#stabbing attack

Graphic footage posted to social media showed a Border Police officer trying to apprehend the suspect as two other Palestinians were trying to pull him free.

An officer managed to pull the alleged stabber away from them in a headlock, but the suspect then briefly freed himself from his grasp and appeared to try and grab the officer’s automatic weapon.

An Orthodox Jewish man was injured in a random stabbing attack in Lakewood this morning, TLS has learned.

The man was walking in the area of MLK Drive shortly after 9:00 a.m. when a woman walked up to him from behind and stabbed him, sources said.

During a Chanukah gathering in the home of Rabbi Chaim L. Rottenberg, in the Forshay neighborhood in Monsey, N.Y., an individual with a scarf covering his face entered just before 10 p.m., brandishing a knife and began stabbing some of the Chassidic Jews gathered for the celebration.

A Chassidic man threw a table at the assailant and chased him from the home.

The attacker then attempted to enter the adjacent synagogue, but was locked out by the people there, who barricaded themselves inside. Five people were stabbed, at least one in critical condition. The assailant fled in a gray car and was reported to have been placed under arrest in New York City two hours later.

The attack comes on the heels of the antisemitic massacre at a kosher grocery in Jersey City on December 10th, and a string of antisemitic attacks in New York City just days before.

Palestinian doctor shot dead by Israeli police in Jerusalem JERUSALEM, Friday, September 10, 2021 (WAFA) – A Palestinian medical doctor was announced dead on Friday evening shortly after he was shot and critically injured by Israeli occupation forces in the old city of Jerusalem, according to witnesses. Israeli police officers reportedly opened gunfire at Dr. Hazem Joulani near Bab al-Majlis, one of the main gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, critically injuring him. The Israeli police also denied access of Palestinian civilians who attempted to provide him with first aid. The Palestinian Detainees Affairs Commission said Joulani, who was rushed to Hadasah Medical Center for treatment, was announced dead of his wounds a couple of minutes later.

No mention of why they might have shot him. (Or why any police officer would ever allow "civilians" to enter a crime scene to administer "first aid.")

Luckily, we have video of this doctor trying to stab an Israeli police officer. From three different angles.

A rabbi was stabbed outside of the Shaloh House Chabad Center in Brighton, as confirmed by the Anti-Defamation League of New England.

The victim, identified by the organization as Rabbi Shlomo Noginski, is said to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Boston police said in a press release.

A Strictly Orthodox rabbi from Stamford Hill’s Satmar community has been named as the victim of the stabbing which took place in Stoke Newington, Hackney, on Friday morning.

Rabbi Alter Yaakov Schlesinger, in his 50s, was queuing outside a Nat West bank branch on Stoke Newington High Street, Hackney, before he was attacked.

Witnesses described how a man in his 40s ran off a bus and allegedly set upon the rabbi with a large knife just before 11am.

MailOnLine reported that construction site manager Lazar Friedlander and his brother Matt, who are Jewish, ran towards the alleged attacker and restrained him after hearing a "serious scream".

Rabbi  Schlesinger was stabbed multiple times, including in the head, before the alleged attacker was tackled by the two workmen and a Deliveroo driver.
