There were parts of season 3 of Stranger Things that I really enjoyed and loved, but there were a lot (honestly, probably more) that I didn’t like. And that’s ok, that’s what happens with a show. But here are a few things I’m disappointed about (spoilers ahead!)
s2 was byeler central, s3 had pretty much none of that, they were just fighting
s2 was Will focused, and then he pretty much disappeared/had no role in s3
Max and Mike still fighting was kind of irritating - I want the party to be friends!
Dustin spending no time with the party
The ‘it’s not my fault you don’t like girls’ line never being addressed again
Eleven’s whole character felt really off?? just really incorrect
The tone of the whole season felt different to the tone of s1 and s2 which was weird
Max suddenly being Billy’s really close sibling? What was up with that? She went from threatening him with a bat to what we see in s3
Such a random thing but I felt bad for the rest of Hawkins they just got a cool new mall and now that’s destroyed oops
Don’t think it explained why Mayor Kline worked with the Russians in the first place? I know they said it was for land grants but... why? Why was there a mayor suddenly anyway?
The cliff hanger scene felt like it was trying to mix s1 (demogorgon) with what we literally just saw (russians), so I was confused as to where s4 (if there is one) could even go
Those are, I think, the main things that had me feeling a bit iffy about season 3. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I think I personally preferred season 2 overall.Â
i thought 2018 was going to be the year where we finally respect actors and their privacy and don’t harass young actors over the internet
will and eleven are going to have the strongest bond ever. they haven’t even met each other and el is still so worried for him and cares for him so much. whenever el is mentioned, will gets excited and happy. they are going to be such a power duo.Â

eleven shrinks into corners when she’s upset/scared/overwhelmed as a way of coping. she did it in hawkins lab when she was locked in the room, and she did it when she was in hopper’s cabin and has her psychic tantrum.
Hopes for Stranger Things S3
*These are some HIGH hopes
•will byers is canonically gayÂ
•eleven stops with that forced female competition attitude & her and max become best friends
•joyce and hopper start dating
•everyone in the party starting to bond, basically just seeing the different dynamics
•will & eleven finally meet!
•at least one scene where the whole party is having a sleepover or just hanging out and watching some 80s movie
•the party helping to introduce el into a normal life
•not suddenly dropping will & eleven’s trauma, and actually building on. showing how they have changed since their experiences and how they are dealing with their pasts
•eleven or mike or dustin or just somEONE singing
