52. The Lift hug

Jessica puffed her cheeks and rocked back and forth on her heel to keep the circulation going in her body. It was cold–the kind of cold where you look at the temperature and cringe, but don’t cringe too much out of fear your face will literally be frozen that way forever–and Sulli was taking forever to open the door to the apartment building.

When planning their girls’ night, Sulli had suggested going to a restaurant or a café, but Jessica knew better than to be in public with an SM artist–she pursed her lips at the thoughts of all the drama and scandal that would follow–so she suggested meeting at Sulli’s place instead.

Just as Jessica was about to shout for someone to open the door, a young woman appeared on the other side, poking her head out. Jessica breathed a sigh of relief and hurried inside, barely letting the younger girl open the door enough for her to slip through.

​/chewing on the flesh of her lower lip upon catching his mumbling, she attempted not to smile at how much of a struggle he looked to actually be going through at the present time; Good idea. /with a nod, she watched his figure disappear into the building before cleaning up the left over drops of ice-cream that had spilled on the bench and floor where he sat;

It’s not my fault you didn’t get it in a cup like I suggested. /with the shake of her head, a soft laugh slipped from between her parted lips as she glanced over at the sticky mess the male had somehow created; Oppa!! You’re getting it everywhere!! /she squeaked, quickly scooting away to avoid getting dirty, but mostly to reach over the table and grab some napkins to offer help; Here, hold still. /placing a few sheets of paper napkins over the melted sweet on his hands, she tried her best to hastily wipe off as much as she could before eventually just grabbing the mushed waffle cone herself; I’m gonna throw this away. We can share mine, instead. I’ll go get another spoon while you clean up.
