Taken by Marlene.
Alice was like the first snow of winter, untouchable and pure. She was soft and beautiful inside. But, like snow, it eventually melted away. Dorcas was like a sunrise, burning bright for all to see. Her shadows were hidden by her light. But, like every sunrise, there came a sunset. Emmeline was like the eye of the storm, calm while everything around her was chaos. She kept herself strong in the powerful winds. But, like all storms, the eye eventually went away. Lily was like a summer's day, warm and approachable. Her passion outshone the sun itself. But, like all summer days, winter nights arrived. Marlene was like the wind, never comfortable in one place. She changed directions faster than light. But, like all wind, it could only stay so long.
