Reblog with a line from your drafts.
Would you date an eighteen year old. I wanna know if I have a chance 🥰
Fuck no. I’m in my thirties. You’re eighteen. To me, you’re a goddamn kid.
And while we’re here… some of you need to stop romanticising grown men chasing eighteen-year-olds.
I don’t care that it’s “legal.” If you’re a man in your thirties whose dating pool starts the day someone turns eighteen, I think that’s creepy as hell.
Have some standards. Have some self-control. Have enough respect for young women to let them actually become women before you start inserting yourself into their lives.
If I had an eighteen-year-old daughter and some motherfucker my age showed up trying to date her, we’d be having a VERY serious conversation. And trust me, he wouldn’t leave that conversation wondering where I stood.
And if you’re eighteen, stop putting older men on a pedestal. The right man for you isn’t the one who’s excited that you’ve just become legal. That’s not something I’d ever admire.
What do you consider cheating?
It’s simple. If you know you’d hide it from your partner because you know it would hurt them… you’re probably already in the wrong.
Obviously sex is cheating. Kissing is cheating. Emotional affairs are cheating. Secretly entertaining someone who’s clearly interested in you is cheating. Flirting for validation while you’re in a relationship is cheating. Lying about who you’re talking to is cheating.
At its core, cheating isn’t just about physical intimacy. It’s about betrayal. The moment you start giving another person the time, attention, affection or intimacy that belongs inside your relationship, you’ve crossed a line.
Every couple has different boundaries, and that’s perfectly fine.
Mine are simply very clear. I don’t do dishonesty. If you want someone else, go and be with them. Just have enough respect for me to leave before you do.
I was scrolling through your asks and saw where you stated that you were okay dating someone who didnt work. Would you date a woman with a big job? Like a CEO, surgeon, lawyer or something?
No.
I already have a demanding career. I work long hours, travel frequently, and carry a great deal of responsibility. I enjoy what I do, but it is stressful. At the end of the day, I do not want to come home to a second high-pressure career.
It is not because I dislike ambitious women or because I believe a woman is incapable of taking care of herself. Quite the opposite. Some of the most intelligent and capable people I have met are women with impressive careers.
It is just not the lifestyle I want.
If I call my wife during a difficult day at work, I do not want to spend an hour discussing board meetings, lawsuits, hospital politics, or whatever crisis her profession has produced that week. At that point, I find myself wondering why I am working so hard in the first place.
What makes the long hours worthwhile for me is knowing that the people I love are comfortable, happy, and free to enjoy their lives.
If I call and she tells me she had lunch with a friend, spent the afternoon reading, went shopping, had her hair done, or simply enjoyed a quiet day, that fills me with a sense of accomplishment. It reminds me why I am putting in the effort.
For me, providing fills me with satisfaction and accomplishment. There is something deeply rewarding about knowing that the reason she can relax is because I am carrying the burden willingly.

Hey guys… is eating an onion like an apple weird?
Fuck no.
Fuck yes.
Greetings,
Is it important to you that your partner is 100% intellectually compatible with you?
No. I don’t need someone to understand tensor calculus or quantum field theory. God knows I spend enough time around people like that already.
What matters to me is curiosity. I want someone who likes learning. Someone who asks questions. Someone who’s happy to let me ramble about black holes over dinner while telling me about whatever they’re passionate about in return.
Intellectual compatibility isn’t about having the same knowledge. It’s about enjoying the process of thinking together.
I’ve met brilliant people who were painfully boring. And I’ve met people with no formal education who could keep me talking until three in the morning. I’ll take the second every single time.
do you like trees?
