And thus let this be the short introduction;

Squonker, is a silly little game.

there's not much to it, but there's plenty of world-building. Project from earlier this year that I've kept around (similar to Meegreef) and expanded tenfold. The basic premise of the game is a bunch of minigame parodies of bigger games, Mario 64 is an FPS bullet-hell ala Binding of Isaac, FNAF is a dating simulator, SCP containment breach is a gardening simulator, y'know, off-the-wall nonsense pairings.

The game features a diverse (read: many) cast that inhabits the fictional small town of 'Joidenburgh, Skonkland', a vaguely european-scandanavian inspired utopia. You, the player, are a new hire at the game store Squonker, who must prove to Skib (the owner) that you know what you're doing and can walk-the-walk or talk-the-talk and he has you play various games.

However, as you do that, a powerful and benevolent entity known as 'The Games Wizard' does a kickflip out the TV, and grabs your hand to take you to the land of games! He's bored and grabbed as many games as he could, from vaguely the present (he's timeless so it may be 2008 but some games are from the future!) to have a little bit of fun with you.

It's still in the works, but I've been putting a lot of effort into the cast specifically, aiming for ~80. Majority of them won't appear, but hey, escapism is what escapism does. Below is a link to the "SQUONK-DEX", a comprehensive (out-of-universe) listing of the present characters, complete with age/gender, species/name. Take a gander!
