New skull added to my vulture culture collection.
This was a grey squirrel skull I found in the woods.
Coin is a Beatrix Potter Peter rabbit 50p, it is 27.30mm approx and used as size reference.
Sadly, it was in a trap. Someone had wedged the trap under a root and left it there. Would have been more humane to either let it go or destroy it, then let it starve in a cage terrified. Too bad I found it long dead, or i could have released it.
Originally, thought it was either a rat skull or squirrel skull. r/vultureculture on reddit confirmed squirrel for me.
My vulture culture collection is now this Grey squirrel skull, a European rabbit leg bone, Muntjac deer hip bone, Domestic canary bones and skull, European rabbit skull, another European rabbit skull but with crystals on it, a Domestic cat skull, and a Guinea pig skull. I have a medium size bird breastbone? I need to clean mud from more, and a diaphonised fetal rabbit head wet specimen aswell.
@mekanikaltrifle finally degreased that skull, it was a squirrel skull, not a rat like I thought. Here's the pic I said I'd show ya when it was finally done.
finished a project i've been neglectng for a while
I need to rearrange my coffin clock shelves, and replace the Lite Brite batteries
Pictures of bones

The size difference is so cool! That’s why I left the cleaning to my beetles for this tiny guy.
Squirrel skull I cleaned and somewhat repaired today. Not the best, but not bad for working on my first skull! :D
Art! It's Ashfur! Again. There's also a squirrel skull, if you can't tell!
