My mother and I went to a 'Holiday Boutique' in November which included a whole bunch of vendors and things you could purchase as presents or for yourself.

If you remember, my mother bought my daughter Pickle shoes because they were cute and squeaked (what were we thinking).  We had to have them shipped because they did not have her size at the Boutique.

I finally received these shoes today (after expecting them in 2-6 weeks and some back and forth email correspondence and eventually deciding to get them a size larger since we had been waiting so long).

Their box motto: 'little feet. little squeaks. lots of style.'  It's more like 'little feet. loud squeaks. super cute.'

Their shoes come with removable decor (flowers) and we chose the pink tutu looking ones.  There are 'accessories' that you can purchase and we got the extra pink flowers.

We are going to have do coordinate these pink shoes (probably not with these socks).  :)

Here is my daughter's first reaction.  She made them squeak once or twice and thought something crazy was happening.  Then, she strolled around the house forever.

Do not worry - the squeakers come out.  See the little plastic tube looking thing in the front?  They pull out of the side of the shoe (where you can see the hole).

Therefore - squeakers in while at Grandma's and squeakers out when at home!
