I got one of my all time favorite pieces of fitness equipment today through a stroke of pure luck and swift action. A Glute-Ham Developer (or GHD) machine!!! These things cost $500+ new most times. I paid $150 from a family off FB Marketplace!! Gotta love those rich white folks that don’t know the actual value of the things they sell (Seriously, dude didn’t know it’s worth and just threw out a number).
Anyways couldn’t wait to get it home and use it. Todays workout E3MOM: 10 front squats @ 235lbs and 10 GHD sit-ups for ten rounds. Made sure to not overdo it and get rhabdo. Haven’t done GHDs in quite some time.
Now I can finally work on getting my actual core and abs back ( shut up @riandawfatherr because I know you’re gonna say something lol)
Late night training. Luckily was able to get something in. Front squats- 4 heavy reps. Worked up to 305. Which somehow felt easier than the 285 I did the set before. Idk. Just glad I made the weight and reps.
Forgot to post. Late night training last night. 225lb overhead squat for 5 reps in order to improve my shoulder strength. Did 4 sets. Overall felt solid. Actually better than in the past when I used to struggle at this weight. Progress is progress.
275lb Overhead Squat. 10lb PR.
Not bad for someone who woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.

Also it’s currently in the 20s here in Dallas, and it’s fucking awesome. For those who don’t know I love cold weather. But that’s why I have leggings on.
