Stories from game night
For context, we were play-testing a game created by the offspring of a couple of friends of mine. I don’t know if the game has a name yet, but we were all having a lot of fun with it.
At one point, one of us (who I will refer to here as Friend 1) had a sort of shape-theme going on with her cards in play. She had both a rectangle and a square in front of her. The rectangle, sadly, did not survive, but the square stayed in play for a bit. At one point, she gained a card that allowed her to buff one of the cards in front of her. This card had a triangle on it.
Friend 1: Guys. Guys, I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna give my square... A TRIANGLE.
Everyone: (muses about how there needs to be some way for those words to be combined)
Me: Triasquare? ...Squareangle? ...Squiangle?
Friend 2: Squangle!
Everyone: Heh heh, squangle.
(A bit later)
Me: (deciding who to attack, opting for Friend 3)
Friend 1: You would not survive my squangle!
Me: No one would survive your squangle.
(A bit later)
Friend 1: I’m giving my squangle a torch.
Friend 2: He is a fiery squangle.
Friend 3: I’m killing your fiery squangle.
Friend 1: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
