I wish I never had to come back to reality 

I remember the days when this was a quiet secluded spot to boondock in peace after a busy work week. Way more popular these days, the roads are lined with parked cars, fireworks crack while flashing lights and music pump through party speakers late into the night. It’s not the not so far getaway from the bustling city it once was. Time passes and with it comes change. Lianne and I have had many cozy nights in our camper van we named “watney”. And this very well may be our last. He goes on the market tonight to find his next caretakers and adventure seekers. We can’t give him the care he needs and we seek different adventures on the horizon. With change, comes change. And like many things to fear in life, facing it almost always leads to an adventure. I went for a drive yesterday 8 km up an FSR over Squamish valley hoping it was a bit cooler up there.
