...is the name of my post-apocalyptic sci-fi-ish universe. honestly i'm not sure if i'll ever actually do much with it but it's still a concept i quite like.

the inspiration came from a single short story from a collection of papoc short stories, where the earth had shattered into chunks that were hanging suspended in the air. i have not been able to find the story or the collection since, but for a better reference think mid game evil within 2.

the idea of a world that had been shattered but not destroyed intrigued me to no end. i've always been a fan of abandoned broken places (extinction avatar) but this concept hit in a slightly different way.

the overall story would be that the protagonist (or player, depending on what kind of media i would put it in. i tried making a text adventure for it once) would find themself in some kind of control room, sirens blaring and lights flashing, dead bodies of two distinct kinds lying around the room, only some with injuries. no memory of what this place is, why they're here, or what happened, only a message on one of the screens mentioning some 'final protocol' before everything shuts down.

the rest of the story is them avoiding the unfamiliar, monstrous lifeforms, navigating the shattered shell of the planet, and piecing together the rest of the story (spoilers below the cut?? idk it feels right but this is the only place i've put this story so there's probably not a lot of risk in reading it)

Para ello, la empresa de electricidad procedió a un corte programado que inició a las 9 y se extendió hasta pasadas las 14 horas.
