Sat outside on porch and enjoyed the quiet. . . . #sprocketcoffee #coffeecoffee #breakfast #mornings #hotcoffee #rye #habaneros https://www.instagram.com/p/B4K4o7kAxmh/?igshid=1urucnydlfka6
IS IT GOOD COFFEE?
How does the average coffee drinker really rate coffee?
Over the years of drinking while traveling I have seen a number of unusual methods for rating coffee.
Everything thing from the standard color wheel to very unique creations.
But I believe the average coffee drinker really just wants a solid, hot cup of taste-bud pleasing coffee in the morning.
To that end I offer the following statement : Do you enjoy the coffee your trying?
Not the experts or presumed masters of coffee tasting from local shop or online.
I mean how can they know what your taste-buds are saying to you?!
Not to say they are wrong, its just who knows how it truly tastes to you, but YOU.
I have purchased countless bags of different coffees from all over the world and I admit I keep a logbook of sorts...
As I thumb through it I realize how many of those bags I gave away after tasting them through a french press, pour over, espresso machine, and yes, even the old automatic drip machine.
No matter how great they were suppose to be I found many just weren't for me.
The most important thing is how much YOU enjoy it.
How much do you want to taste this specific coffee again?
Could you drink it all day or just a cup or two?
Or is it just not for you?
So maybe this will help with each coffee you try and are trying to decide how it ranks to YOU:
1 STAR (no thanks next)
3 STARS (OK, I'd drink a cup or two)
5 STARS (Yes, I could drink this until I get the SHAKES!)
Just my two cents!
