ASTON VILLA KIDS APP SPRINT TWO

The sprints will now all begin with a stand up at the start showing our progress from our sprint. After Maria and myself spoke about our idea, James suggested we did a ‘card sorting’ exercise. This is where we put all our ideas on post-it notes and then pull down/sort out the ones that don’t work all or are needed on the app.

ARG Team Sprint Review

Here is one of the Masters Teams (Audrey, Rachael, Anh Thi and Melika) discussing their progress and presenting some of the initial assets produced for their ARG to be playtested in 2 weeks time...

Rachael has done a great job working out how to use Vuforia for their ARG project. This image demonstrates the integration of print assets with mobile 3D content. Rachael and Audrey reported that Vuforia was difficult to set up at first - mostly due to all of the various software needed such as Unity...

Melika has fabricated some physical game assets (wooden talisman) at J Block QUT... Anh Thi and Rachael are considering how to use the physical assets with the Vuforia AR they have prepared.

After an inspiring presentation form Tobias, Ben arranged our cohort into small groups and the groups were lead through a thought provoking exercise using an inspiring deck of cards designed by Strange Telemetry.
