     THE presence of the Elven King was obvious, and the dwarves could always feel it deep in their bones. In his eyes, though, Kili thought it was about time to just finish this tensions between kins for what happened so long ago. Slowly, he walked to the throne and looked at Thranduil. No member of the Company knew of the prince’s presence in Mirkwood’s kingdom, and he hoped he didn’t regret it. “ I’m here to make a treaty of peace between our people. ”

                   “Wonderful. Because I have no time for your baseless accusations.” he said “And Father  knows all about that. Are you sure you two haven’t met?”

“I’m...sorry; I can’t recall that I have.”

           “In my defense, I did not expect this to happen,” the forge maiden replied, wide eyes staring in shock at the results of the small explosion. Her forge was in disarray, fires extinguished by the buckets of water already thrown over them, tools tossed like rag dolls by the force of the blast. One of her favorite hammers lay broken on the ground. Everything was pretty much a smoking ruin and that was an outcome as far from her desire as possible. “This is the last time I try anything Narvi wrote in that craftsbook.”

                                      she was unaccustomed to looking up when she spoke to someone, yet she was here now, chin tilted ( only slightly ) to glance up towards his face.
