As beautiful as daytime was, Stella absolutely adored the serenity that came with the night. There was something about the quiet, and the darkness that stretched on eternally up above that helped clear her mind in ways that the days and all its light never could. And though late night walks were by no means safe in the human realm, they quickly became Stella's favorite way to to wind down from whatever trials she may have faced during her job as a pediatrician. As much as she loves kids, Stella couldn't deny that there were a handful of cases here and there that left her more exhausted than others. A groan. Did Stella just imagine that? Stopping in her tracks, the brunette surveys her surroundings: closed stores lined haphazardly to her right, a sidewalk washed over with orange from the streetlights that stood tall before her, and a relatively empty street to her left. And then there's some shuffling, and a peek at what appeared to be a shoe close by from an alley. Quietly, Stella approaches, body tensing as it prepares for what lay within the dark, small space. "Oh my God," At the sight of the woman's crumpled figure on the floor, a vivid red staining her hands and her clothes, Stella asks no questions as she kneels next to the stranger, raising her hands to their figure. "What happened?"
