Gi-hun, blushing: I mean, it's okay! Really, you don't have to do this. I've been meaning to have a spa day, *shrugs* but money's a little tight right now.

*Gi-hun yelps as he's "nudged" into the shower*

The Recruiter: Don't come out yet! Just rinse!

Gi-hun: Is this necessary?

Jun-ho: All good! We promise!

*glass and sh🤪 breaks in the kitchen, the fire alarm goes off, voices argue, and there's blows landing; the lights dim suddenly and Gi-hun almost slips- all in a span of thirty seconds*

Gi-hun, after a rinse: *steps out* WHAT is going o-? 😮

*Sang-woo, Jun-ho, In-ho, and the Recruiter are surrounded by flickering candles with their sleeves rolled up; In-ho holds a tray with a proper dinner he made; Sang-woo has hot towels at the ready; Jun-ho shuts off the hot water for the bathtub; the Recruiter loads the movie on his laptop*

Gi-hun: Whoa... How-?

In-ho: *shushes him gently* Welcome to heaven.

*Gi-hun doesn't miss the glares his friends keep giving each other as In-ho bathes him*

*Jun-ho and Sang-woo take care of Gi-hun's skin care regime and do a mani-pedi*

*In-ho then gives him a massage and Gi-hun is close to falling asleep*

The Recruiter: 🙄 You're doing it wr-

In-ho: SHH.

*the Recruiter lays Gi-hun in bed*

Gi-hun: Mm~ This is nice. You guys are the best friends anyone could ask for.

In-ho: It's the least we can do.

Jun-ho: Of course, hyung!

Sang-woo: What else can we do?

Gi-hun: *making grabby hands* Sleep over?

*they surround him before Gi-hun can blink*

Gi-hun: *eepy* I could stay here forever...

“You come here often?” Evan’s flirtatious voice caught Tommy’s attention.

A smile so bright that it could light up Las Vegas multiple times over took over Tommy’s face, causing his face to scrunch up. He would never get over the way Evan would give him every reason to smile. “It’s been about seven years since the last time I came around,” he admitted as a fond memory crossed his mind.

Evan slid onto the bar stool next to Tommy with a quiet chuckle. “You know that I enjoy spending time with you, right? You don’t always have to go so hard with these grand gestures and big adventures.”

“I know,” Tommy confessed, “I’ve always been a grand gestures and big adventures guy. I just haven’t always had the right person with me.”

With a raised eyebrow, Evan bit down a question and instead asked, “And you’re saying you have the right person now?”

“After six months of dating? I hope so.”

The playfulness not only in Tommy’s tone but his entire demeanor was something Evan was aware that he didn’t always show the rest of the world. He reached for his older counterpart and gave his hand a squeeze in an unspoken ‘I’m here now and I’m not going anywhere’ gesture before he asked, “So what’s next on this big adventure?”

“Tonight, we have a few drinks. And a little something for dessert as a treat.” Tommy quipped with a hint of flirtatiousness. “But tomorrow...well, how do you feel about ziplining?”

“That sounds amazing!” It was Evan’s turn to light up with pure joy and excitement.

With a satisfied smile, Tommy knew it would appeal to the adrenaline junkie in Evan. “Glad to find relatively safe ways to satisfy the adrenaline junkie in you.”

“I promise my reckless days are mostly behind me,” Evan assured him. “I’m strapped in and ready for the long haul.”

“Good because this is just the first six months. There’s plenty more of this to come.” Tommy punctuated the thought with a loving, gentle kiss to his boyfriend.

They are now slightly confused why the exorcist hasn't left even after the job is done.

The exorcist is just as confused by their own behavior.

The exorcists are all starved for attention from someone other than their siblings, and a lot of the Wrath imp families get pretty attached to the ones they hire. It’s not surprising when the exorcists start getting treated like part of the families they work for.
