Honestly YEAH. I saw that preview bit of the fight with stage one and watching that arm pulsate and grow more bulbous as the fight went on was just BRILLIANT.

In the preview trailer at the end of the 30 minute demo you also get a brief glimpse of his third form, but it’s VERY brief and also a bit blurred, I only know what form it was because of the big back-arms and the eye on the thigh (as well as using youtubes slow motion feature at the slowest setting), but he definitely looks to keep that gross fleshy lumpy creature vibe to him. Safe to say his forms are going to look spectacular!

It’s still pretty... bad... no, lacklustre, but episode 14 had sassy Shockwave and TC being a adorable idiot. The episodes tend to have a moment in them that’s sort of a highlight but then the rest of it’s just kinda... ‘okay’ but I’ll give it props that it’s at least starting to be more regular with having some amusing/good moments even if it’s one-per-episode and the scene of Bee losing his voice was unexpectedly morbid like it’s dipping it’s toes into really getting there. 

It really just doesn’t feel like it’s here or there yet still, which is annoying, I mean is it actually going to pick up in the last four episodes or is it going to get better in season two? 

But hey, episode 13, after 30+ years of voice jokes, Starscream finally got what he deserved and I’m not saying any more than that hahaha.

I only just finished episode one dude, and it is already cute.

One of the first things I knew about this series is how much Galvatron always let his brother get away with being a backstabbing shitlord because he’s his brother and he still cares about him no matter what. 

Megastorm called him “Nii Chan” and I know that’s just because it’s a subtitle and that’s how it’s said but it was just really darn cute to hear.

Thank you! When I started doing “own style bots” using headcanons and cherrypicking bits of my favourite design I knew Soundwave was gonna end up very much like his TFP self haha I just love that look.

Feel like this is better answered on my mod blog here than that blog.

Megatron has always been a jerk. He unapologetically starts a war that almost destroys Cybertron and makes his own species near extinct. Redeeming him has always felt like a grab at “he’s popular with fans so he can do anything and still get a good ending” thing and to ‘win popularity’. He outright abuses Starscream in pretty much every continuity and only tends to show regret when he’s in trouble or might, god forbid, face consequences (looking at you tfp finale). Besides, the fandom has already done “Megatron but he’s a sweetie/secret goodie/redeemed” 50,000 times or more already. 

I play Megatron as an outright villain.

Galvatron on the other hand has LOADS of character aspects and parts of him that go unexplored, which is a surprise as a character whose canonically a mentally ill abuse victim would seem like a more popular character among fans. Alas, no, people just make him mindlessly violent, which is... uncomfortable given when Galvatron was violent towards his own men it was due to a mental breakdown, it wasn’t with Megatron, but which one does the fandom make out to be the ‘violent monster’... yeah, ouch. He has way more openings for being a nice and soft character, only bolstered by BWII Galvatron being the most goddamn sweet fellow. Galvatron isn’t “somehow a sweetie”  he’s been shown in canon to care about Cyclonus’s safety more than his own, something the former never did unless they were ‘useful’ to him.

I portray Galvatron as something he hasn’t been in a long while. A character.

1) Thank you! Cyclonus was done first but couldn’t have him without his best friend right haha. I hope to, I’ve been slacking on the TFA stuff.

2) He’s not Megatron, he makes the point about being Galvatron and got upset when people misnamed him. He was Galvatron, right up til the dang heroic end and it’s not his fault Optimus was a shitbag who deadnamed him one last time. He didn’t magically become Galvatron in Superlink/Energon, he spent the start of that series being Megatron too, so he wasn’t.
