The twins disguise themselves, create a creepy illusion and make a person fall into their trap and suck the victim's soul which keeps them alive. The book has 5 chapters set for every 9 years starting from 1979 to 2015. The story is told by the victim. The author has diverse characters (a boy & his mom, recently divorced policeman, a shy college student, a reporter) chosen as victims.
