Michelle had only picked Betty as her roommate, because of one person - well maybe two: Ned. Ned was cool. Ned was basically one of her only friends. And he had it hard for Betty, which would make it easier to give them room to explore a blossoming romance.

Which was why, as soon as they arrived in London, all jetlagged, Michelle already clad in her pants and top for bed, made her way to the room Ned officially shared with Peter Parker.

She led herself in with the card Ned gave her and simply, without a word of explanation jumped onto the bed that was obviously Neds.

    Mary Jane walked to the edge of the building and sat there. Staring down at the street and its movement of cars, she let the tears fall down her face. She barely escaped her father again, the redhead couldn't handle any more, she wants to leave that place now.

    ❝ Just one more year, just one more year ❞ MJ kept repeating to herself in her native language until she felt someone touch her shoulder. Looking up she saw Queens resident hero Spider-man ❝ I’m not gonna jump if is that what you think ❞ She said wiping out the tears from her face.

          “you  listening  or  sleeping  on  your  feet,  kid?  because,  if  i  had  to  guess,  i’d  say  you’re  about  three  seconds  from  making  acquaintances  with  the  pavement.  -----  did  you  even  sleep  last  night?”

Although Bruce had a room among the other Avengers, he often stayed in the small apartment he had in New York. Here, no one knew who he was and who he could become. He was anonymous, which he liked. Tony had been here a couple of times and Clint once, otherwise, he remained alone. So when someone knocked on his door, he got a bit surprised and even more so when he saw who stood outside it.

The peephole gave a somewhat distorted view, but there was no doubt about it, the person outside was Peter Parker and he was injured. Bruce hurried to unlock the door.  Before the boy had finished talking, the scientist had already started to usher him inside, closing and locking the door behind him.

Eddie had tried to explain to Venom that they couldn’t go around eating people, but ridding the city of bad guys (truly, horrible people, honestly) had been something of a power-kick for Eddie, and it was fuel in the tank for Venom. It kept the symbiote from feasting on Eddie’s organs.

Venom came to a stop in front of Spider-Man, looking up at him – fully aware of the boy behind the mask. “WE ARE IN CONTROL, PETER. WE ARE HEROES.”

SOMETHING IS COMING. The voice in his head feeds him the line and the hair on the back of Eddie’s neck stands on end. NOT SOMETHING. SOMEONE. He clarifies. “Thanks, big guy, but that doesn’t make me feel any better.” He’s on edge, has been ever since he and Venom became one. He never knows who’s going to come knocking on the door, looking for the symbiote – trying to separate them. He thinks everyone thinks Venom died protecting him in the blast from the rocket, but one can never be too safe.

He moves to deadbolt the door but Venom stops him. NOT A THREAT. HE NEEDS HELP.

Eddie curls his fingers in on his hand and hesitates. He hears something slump against his door and he opens it, the young man on the other side looks like he’s been through some shit, and Eddie glances around before grabbing the kid and pulling him inside.
