These spooky and delicious Halloween cake pops are perfect for your Halloween party! They are made in the shapes of ghosts, pumpkins, and mummies and are sure to please both children and adults.
Ingredients: 1 box of chocolate cake mix. 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting. 1 package of white candy coating. Black gel food coloring. Green gel food coloring. Lollipop sticks. Candy eyes. Edible candy pearls. Edible black marker.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the box to bake the chocolate cake. Allow it to totally cool down. In a large bowl, break up the cooled cake into small pieces. Mix the cake crumbs and chocolate frosting together until they are well mixed. Shape little bits of the cake mix into the shapes of a ghost, a pumpkin, and a mummy. Put the shaped cake pops on lollipop sticks and freeze them for 15 to 20 minutes to make them firm. Follow the directions on the package to melt the white candy coating. Make sure that every cake pop is fully covered in the melted candy coating. Let the extra coating fall off. Put on the candy eyes and mouths and other features on the ghosts with the black edible marker before the coating sets. Before the coating sets, use the black edible marker to make pumpkin faces on the cake pops that have been coated. For mummies, drizzle the cake pop with the melted white candy coating to make it look like a mummy wrap. Put candy eyes on top of the coating. To let the candy coating fully set, put the cake pops that are done in a foam block. You can add stems to the pumpkins by melting a little white candy coating and coloring it green gel food coloring. Your Halloween cake pops are ready to eat once the coating has set.
