                 ‘ I feel like im in the makeover scene in every teen movie from the early aughts. ’  alec doesnt hide in his face how much the thought amuses him, a sparkle in his eyes as he finishes doing up the lace’s of teddy’s louboutins, straightening the pant leg on each side before he finally rises to be almost face to face. his hands dont hesitate as they reach forward to shove the floral patterned shirt into teddy’s waistband, settling for a simple french tuck before also helping him slide into the embroidered suit jacket. before teddy can react, alec’s mumble fingers crack open an hermes box like an egg, swiftly wrapping the metal about his wrist before dragging him by his hand to alec’s oversized vanity. the black marble flecked with silver is dotted with artifacts of alec’s life: a crystal ashtray, a bottle of vodka and champagne beside each other, a smattering of glittering rings and chokers. alec’s hands deftly card through teddy’s dark hair, pushing it around until alec settles on a stylishly disheveled look he adores. once more he moves like a tornado, pulling his friend up from the cushy vanity chair to the massive mirror, bigger than the both of them combined, glass framed by ornate gold where it leans against the wall in alec’s oversized bedroom.  ‘ so what do you think? have you ever worn……eight grand? yeah, I think its around there, give or take ten grand. I told you you’d be getting a birthday present whether you like it or not. ’  alec grin in the mirror is positively devilish as he looks at teddy’s expression.  ‘ though I dont care what day it is – if you ruin that suit ill kick your ass. it just got off the runway in milan. she deserves better. oh, and im taking you out to dinner. I got a cake made so you cant say no. ’
