something i noticed that i haven't seen anyone talk about yet is how garen's accent changed in rybad-kol! at the beginning of his introduction it had pretty much disappeared, but then it came back during the vision, and then lessened again while talking to kuzzle and the overseer. and obviously it returned at some point after that, but i was too tired to pay attention to when exactly that happened 😔

i do wonder if predathos having a vessel now (and thus the threat to the gods increasing substantially) is going to make a potential calamity 2.0 more likely
