Did some Lumi experiments. I liked the "pupil" sockets but I like the idea that he's glowy magic on the inside and inky goopy on the outside better. Inky goopy magic man... I think I kind of like that he's the inverse of O'Chunks who has a stiff lower jaw and animated head. Lumi has a consistent upper skull and EXTRA animated...neck. Because he doesn't really have much of a jaw to speak of.

I threw together a size comparison! Blumiere has the most consistency so far of their designs. Wouldn't it be a shame if I changed my mind? Such is the way of concept stages! \o/
AHAHAHAHA, because I am a silly man. That's recently become an old concept, as teased by my last post that I made with that design. Here are some new concepts!
As cool as the skull concept was, I wanted him to look more animated, so he is still very skullish, but he is also more blobby now! He is wearing more traditional Ancients robes, which makes much more sense canonically and true to the fiction of his latest developments.
I also have some new Mimi and Nassy designs.
None of these designs are final, but thought I'd post an update of my dev progress! Thanks for reading! β‘
Figured I'd upload my recent Mimi concepts! Still trying to pin down a consistent style for this project but also a consistent design for Mimi! I thought it might be neat if her true form face was just a crinkly skin over a metallic head. If it looks vaguely familiar than I'm doing it right! >:} I might rethink that idea, though, it's kind of stumping me.
