In happier news, Wishie Woo graduated from his first obedience class!!! We’re signed up to go through again and solidify what we’ve worked on since he’s only 7 months old, but so far he’s doing excellently! So proud of my boy <3

Copiloting: 8wks vs 18wks!

Therapy work with my llama Comet is one of my absolute favorite activities, though with his legs failing him, we just can't do what we used to as much anymore. Ever since Wish was born, I've been hoping that his temperament may make him a suitable candidate to grow up to be a therapy dog, so that I could continue doing therapy work and giving back to others in this way. Wish blew me away when we went to the dog show for a couple hours of socialization!!! He is so attentive, focused and present when meeting with any new person. He just approaches, then sits calmly and lets them pet him, and gives gentle kisses if they let him sniff their hand! He even crawled into one little girl's lap when she called him over to her and leaned into her to let her hug him. The whole time he was totally relaxed, engaged and present! This is so exciting and I'm really hopeful that this may be something he enjoys doing in the future!! I love this sweet goober so much ❤❤
